If you can boot into the OS or at least get adb to work. I was able to adb push a zip to twrp folder on internal storage and flash it was a new rom and it fixed the storage thing for me

HELP Can't install any ROM or RUU

Hello,
yesterday I installed Jelly Bean and wanted to revert it back to the latest RUU. I wiped everything, I did even a factory reset but RUU tells me always error 170 usb not connected.
TWRP and CWMT can't mount /sdcard as a lunvfile is missing. And I am sitting here about 10hrs trying to repair this phone. I have relocked it of course for RUU.
And I can't flash any update.zip via fastboot as it tells my that the signature check fails.

Hello first flash phone stock boot img. Then find ALL in One kit 1.0 for htc one s you can find it in google or on forum, and flash stock recovery via this tool. Boot your phone in recovey and clean strage and factory data reset. After this flash custom recovey( in my case TWRP let me to mount sd card) In TWRP mount sd card and push your rom in to sc card via adb.
Later i can do tutorial step by step just let me know. My phone was turning only to bootloader or recovey, but sdcard was not mounted. RUU was showing error all the time. Its take me 7 hours to fix it

Flash run from fastboot screen.
You must have stock recovery to flash it.

[Q] Stuck in CWM. Can't mount the sd card. Nothing is backed up.

I tried to install drumlock app and my phone restarted and went into the recovery. I can't mount the sd card either to flash the rom again. I dont have anything backed up. I am really lost and need someone's guidance.
I had the same issue one time what I did is I mounted the phone as a USB drive (don't know if it works with CWM, if not just flash TWRP recovery) and formated the SD card (when I mounted it Windows asked to format the SD card; Format in FAT32!). As you can imagine all data from the SD will be lost but your SD card is mounted again and you should be able to boot again. If booting still doesn't work try putting a ROM on the SD via mount as USB drive function and try to flash it. It should work.
worked but another problem happened :[

Thanks for that advice. Everything worked. I formatted the cd card and it is now seen in TWRP where I installed the viper one s rom. BUT! Now my phone just keeps on restarting - it shows the htc logo with a red banner under it and just restarts and does it all over again. I can get into boorloader mode If i get lucky pressing it before it restarts, yet the bootloader wont let me get into recovery. I am going to try other methods I guess but I am wondering if there is a way just to use RUU and restore it to stock?

You must've done something to your recovery when you formatted your sdcard. Try flashing TWRP again. You can easily bring your device back to stock by running the RUU. Info can be found around the forum.
Relock bootloader and run a official HTC RUU (warning: itll update hboot).
what worked but now its stuck

I tried that method and flashed utb rom and when i restarted it its stuck on the loading screen...so i tried the different viper one s rom and nothing either. After i locked it i tried the RUU but it gives me the error 150 ...Im on the right track I know...its probably something minor that I keep on overlooking.
gives me error 150

I also tried this method but it brings up the error 150. Could this be the recovery that is causing it ?
So you can't even get into recovery even if you flash it over fastboot?

Hold the Power button and Vol- button in till it stops flashing then let go of the power button for sec and press again then wait a few secends and the bootloader should show up. Now you should be able to use the toolkit again first thing you want to do is flash TWRP recovery and then use it again to flash the boot.img from the rom you want to use then reboot into recovery and you should be able to mount SD now, copy over the rom then factory reset and wipe system and then install rom.
Oh ,CWM recovery isn't support mount USB

You'd better using TWRP recovery,it's prefect..
if you can't mount usb or sdcard then the only fix that doesn't involve using linux hackery is to read this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/sho...OW-TO] Fix soft brick & error mounting sdcard
you need to go back to stock recovery wipe sdcard everything your gonna lose everything and then after you successfully get control of sdcard you flash new recovery use twrp (I wouldn't trust cwm if I was paid to) and that's the fix. happy hacking

I think he cant mount SD is because CWM cant do it but TWRP can.
I've been there more than I like to admit..it's what made me vow never to buy htc
again

If you use cwm recovery, not twrp, then it's normal that you can't mount your sdcard onto your PC over USB. This is not a problem, as long as you can mount your sdcard onto your root filesystem. You can still adb push/pull files to/from the device. If not, you have the 'unmountable sdcard' and you should follow the sticky in Q&A on this issue.
However, it is scary that you can not get into bootloader/fastboot mode. This means you can't change recoveries and, depending on your hboot, change boot images and radios.
Try unplugging the device before you boot into bootloader using the vol-down key. If you have it plugged in, cwm will boot into recovery as soon as you power down.

I must agree with many of the posts here.
Go into fastboot usb, and flash the latest TWRP recovery instead of clockwork mod.
After having gone TWRP, I dont look back. You have many more features than in clockwork, including a USB mount of the internal sd card. You can also use adb tools in twrp too.
After mounting your sdcard, you can then transfer a rom over and then install using twrp too.
If your sd card is corrupted (ie will not mount, cannot access, etc), then you may need to flash the stock recovery and then in the bootloader redo a factory reset. There is a thread about this somewhere, as the stock recovery can reformat your sd card partition if its corrupted or wont mount with other custom recoverys.

TWRP 0mb internal storage

Hi!
I tried to install rom2sd on my SD card. Suddenly, after following this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=47333729&postcount=31
The internal storage just disappeared. I've tried to format but no luck. The tablet won't even recognize it's internal storage. Is it a hardbrick? I can access TWRP but nothing more (havn't tried fastboot since i don't know if i can get into recovery again after rebooting). I've also tried to install a custom rom from an SD-card but no luck.
anyone with some ideas?
Please help

twrp or CWM saying cant mount any partition TF300T

hELLO,
I tried installing twp and cwm versions from xda/twrp.me/cwm website for T300T and flashed them successfully from FASTBOOT but after I boot into recovery and then, when I try to wipe data/ factory reset, do anything in twrp or CWM, I get error "unable to mount /system /cache/ and every other partition, so I can not flash anything, can not mount any partition or sdcard or emmc or anything and can not copy flash files into tablet from PC while in TWRP CWM or external SDcard. I already enabled USB debugging and everything else in tablet settings but I am unable to mount anything or format anything from TWRP or CWM.
TWRP shows internal memory as 00mb :S
HOw to get pass that error "unable to mount" ??
how to mount so that I can flash custom roms/

If your fastboot still works, please try Kang TWRP 2.8.7.2 from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/transformer-tf300t/development/recovery-twrp-t3046479.
if the other recovery does not work, you would probably need to reflash stock rom from the asus website, this is due to recovery not being able to identify the partitions without a full boot, if you wiped it from bootloader the whole partition table is messed up and you want to reflash that by using the stock rom. If you need any help on that just pm me.
I have the exact same problem. Not sure about fastboot as so far it has not installed anything. I have twrp 2.5.0.0 .... adb does function and have actually installed KK 6.0 and works fine, but on restart it is back to recovery and no OS.Any help appreciated.
using fastboot all I get is waiting on device and a blinkng cursor.
How can I get Kang twrp on the tf300 with adb commands?
Sorry to sort of hi-jack the OP thread, but my problem is very similar. Here is where I am now tablet sitting at Starting fastboot usb download protocol ... 3 icons with RCK blinking. I ran the following From my sdk platform tools folder.
adb reboot bootloader
it was followed by;
" daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037"
"daemon started successfully"
I then ran the following:
fastboot -i 0x0b05 flash recovery twrp_tf300t_kang_2.8.7.2.img
it was followed by:
sending 'recovery' (7126 kb)...
followed by a white blinking cursor and it just sits there,
Same results if I run it all the same except substituting the blob file instead of the img file.any ideas?
Many Thanks
Many Thanks, go out to gs-crash-24-7 as well to the forums here at XDA, I now have my tf 300 back up and running on the stock JB 4.2.1 rom. Still isn't recognizing my Micro SD card, but that is a problem I think should be easier to solve.
Again, many thanks all.
Took forever to get it to be recognized as a fastboot device with windows 10, but once that happened ( I won't lie, I erased everything many times) well that and me switching to a little 3 ft cord (after so many attemps at adb>fastboot flash staging blob) it is going for now.
Good advice below if your TF300T seems bricked.

Man was I ever wrong about that statement .... still no success getting the tablet to once again recognize external storage at all.
If anyone can help me with the MicroSD/External Storage not being recognized problem, please take a look here.
Thank you all, its all good and working now with recovery file you posted above.
