HI, 2 days ago, I rooted and flashed [ROM][4.1.2][CM10][UNOFFICIAL]LG Optimus One Family CM10[Jan. 8, 2013: Build 7/Final] by Rashed97 and I absolutely love it. The only issue I'm having is when I turn my phone off to charge, I plug in the charger and the phone turns back on. Is this a bug with CM10? Is there any way around this? I've also noticed this rom drains the battery quite quickly. I could be on Twitter with 100% battery then drops to 97 within 5-10 minutes.

I just thought someone might get a kick out of this. I have my captivate as a backup phone now. It has no sim in it and I turned off data and wifi and gps. Anyway I couldnt remember how long I had left it on so I went to battery status and its been on and unplugged for 4 days and still has 60% battery life. At this rate it should last ten days in this state. Its loaded with stock 2.2
I get about the same with my Tilt 2, which is now relegated to playing 10-20 minutes of Wordly on before bed every night.
I tried that with my nokia a few times and used to get 11-12 days in offline mode.
Too bad they don't last as long when connected to the network.
I have LG Vue...went to 6 days with normalcalls and text...my cappy was envy of it..
Day ten and still have 5% battery life, might last about 11 more hours for 10.5 days total.
Alright, so the biggest complain to this phone is the battery life as we all know. Trying everything to stabilize the battery life, i have used many apps but no luck. One thing I have noted after trying to fix the battery with a calibrator (root required), I read my phone using 4.1V. This is strange because for a simple Watt calculation, you do w= amps x voltage. If the battery can only manage 1.5 x 3.7 or 5.55 Watts and my phone specifically is taking about 1.5 x 4.1 or 6.15 Watts, this means faster battery drain.
What I want to know if there is some sort of voltage control app or modification to the power management for the phone to remain within the V3.7 specified by the battery.
I will also say that randomly my phone decided to run no more than V3.7 on Feb 14 and this is what happened. I unplugged at 7:22 a.m and by the time 9:30 a.m Came, I was at 70%, but then my phone lasted until 6:15 p.m or 18:15 after that. And noted that i did regular texts (sent and received about 200) had a 15 minute phone call and about 1 hour and 15 minutes of bluetooth music playback (I use Bluetooth headsets **Jaybird SB2**) and some internet usage. Not 12 hours but better than the 4 hours most of us get.
What are your thoughts as well?
really there is a problem with battery life? Mine lasts from 9 pm till 9 pm and i am left 50% to 30% thiaiz rom but official too. Also i dont have any ghost calls. Maybe these too are connected?
Basically as the title says, I've bought a "refurbished" one, but I'm not sure whether it's faulty, or whether this is just the average battery life of one of these things!
Woke up at 6am, I used it for about 30 mins this morning on facebook/ebay/bbc news through wifi. Send about 20 txt messages, 10 minutes on the phone. ANother 30 mins browsing/facebook on my lunch break. 12 hours later it's sitting at 17 hours battery life. And it's been on power save mode the WHOLE time. Is this just something I'm going to need to get used to or is mine just a dud?
LOVE the phone otherwise though
whats youre screen on time? do you keep data and stuff on when not in use?
The first couple of days it will be bad while it builds up cache. It will get better. You can try rooting it and putting a custom kernel in to make it last even longer.

1day 2hours 51minutes and 20s on battery with 43% left No power saver mode.
I've recently noticed that my 3 month old Razr HD drops the first 5% in a couple of hours, and when I get to around 14%, I lose the next 10% in about 30 minutes.
The funny thing is my phone can stay at 1-2% for another 30-120 minutes. Yesterday I got home at 1% and 2 hours later the battery notification light was still flashing at me to plug it in at 1%. It literally powered off as I was plugging in the AC adapter.
So I ask, are many people using a battery calibration app? If so, which and what are your results.

I use Battery Calibration by NeMa, works great... I usually use it every month or so, and I let the battery drain all the way first, then charge it to 100% and use the app. Unplug my phone and reboot. I have been using this app for years and its been working great, I have a Razr HD now also and of course you need root.
So, this is strange, but I'm finally starting to get a view on things:
I have 2 batteries for my Desire S. Both should be in good to perfect state. I tested them before I unlocked and started using custom roms; I could get 2 days out of both.
Ever since I unlocked and started trying out new roms, battery life has been acting very, very strange.
When charging regularly, with the phone on, battery life looks good at first (it stays at 100% for hours), and then all of a sudden starts dropping sharply. I can get only 16-18 hours with very little use when this happens
If I charge my phone while it is turned off (well, in recovery, since there's no way to charge it while truly off), my battery seems to get its proper life: it easily lasts 2 days, i managed 65 hours before.
This goes in cycles and diminishes over several cycles: after the 65 hour depletion, the next charge when on, is slightly worse, after 2 or 3 it gets to a really bad state. Charging it while off "resets" this and I get the full 65 hours again.
What the hell is going on here ? I've used a variety of Cm10 roms (Flinny, Pac-man, blindndumb's... last one is my current). Don't tell me I'm actually recalibrating my battery every 4 days...
