This is getting stupid, over a month after launch and still no genuine spare batteries? Anyone have any information on this?
I saw quite cheap batteries on eBay. Please see attached image below.
What cought my attention were the following brands: Droid, Andida, Yoobao.
Also what do you think of micro portable back-up batteries? Should i buy portable back-up batteries or just auxiliary batteries?
I need something safe and reliabe that would not cause damage to the smartphone.
Thanks!

If you're going to buy a battery buy an original HTC one or one with a very good reputation, such as the MUGEN 1800mAh high capacity http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1051192&page=1 this is what I use.
I think i will also need charger. Which would you recommend? I saw on eBay some which were selling along with cheap batteries.
I've had my Galaxy S 4G for several months now, and recently the battery life has lessened during daily use.
I originally used a 1700mAh genuine Samsung battery (forgive me it may have been 1650), but switched over to some backup batteries I have that are 1500mAh.
The 1500's don't have the same life, so I'd like to buy something better.
I found a 2000mAh on eBay, but would that require a new battery door? The seller does not indicate the battery size. Is it possible to get a 2000mAh battery for my 4G S that is the same size as the original battery?
Any suggestions and response are appreciated. Thanks! - Jamie
as far as I know, there's only one fairly decent battery that will fit your phone as is. and that would be the 1800 mAh battery. there's a thread about it in the accessories section, you should look it up
Thanks for your suggestion. Doesn't seem to be the sort of question many want to answer.
They sell 1800mAh batteries on eBay for 2.99, so I think its worth a shot. I just don't want to get a battery that requires a new door, or makes my phone thicker.
Just saying, you get what you paid for. Honestly, IMO you should try to get the OEM samsung battery for the epic 4g touch, or ankler 1800mAh batteries. there was a battery thread somewhere around the vibrant accesories board which someone tested a bunch of batteries, and a lot of the cheaper off-brands had a lower mAh rating than advertised
We shall see. I actually ended up ordering a 2000mAh off eBay for 11.49. The battery was listed as a fit for my phone. I have actually had some good experience in the past buying third-party batteries, specifically for Motorola phone, but, I've also had poor experiences buying knock-off batteries for blackberries that were packaged to look like the genuine thing.
I'll post back, maybe in a week or so when the battery is delivered and I test it.
Anyone else have the relay? It doesn't seem to be a popular phone, doesn't even have a thread here. I love it though. Was wondering if anyone knows where to get an extended battery, or if any other OEM samsung batteries will work with the relay. The people at samsung don't know squat.
Anyone have the OEM battery dimensions for the note2, s3, s2, or any other high capacity samsung batteries that may fit?

You can try high capacity gold batteries made out of Li-ion polymer. It last longer than the usual battery. Try ebay or any other online shopping with your model.

Yeah, I've already looked in the usual places with no results, which is why I've posted here. There's just nothing marketed for the relay. Anyone have any experience tweaking the phone or trying out different batteries?
Has anyone used either of these replacement note 4 batteries??
The Anker batteries below I have used for past generations of the note series and they were perfect.

However, after some more research I ran into these on ebay. Anyone have any opinions or experience with them? They are rated at 3800mah and look to be the same dimensions as the the current battery. Can anyone confirm this? Do they last longer than the current 3220mah? Or is it a cheap battery and not worth the gamble?

Probably check all the reviews in this thread
BAD ASS NOTE 4
I have the Samsung spare battery it and for me it is more than enough and the fact that it comes with a charger and extra holder is a big plus.
I wouldn't take risk with a generic battery like the Ebay one. They tend to get hot, and who knows, might explode....
For a few bucks more the Anker one is a much safer option.
