Noticed a few applications stop responding, should I be concerned or is this just a case that they need updating?
Apps I'm currently having issues with Game Dev Story and Hellraid: The Escape.
Everything else seems fine for now, anyone have these?

Everything is stock right now, no root with latest official rom 38R.
Using Delvik.
Really? Guess I'll go to the OnePlus One forum.

Did you discover anything? I too have found moving from 33R to 38R a little unstable with quite a few force closes (specifically with Hellraid: The Escape).
On stock 38R rom, rooted, dalvik.

I would post in the Rom Synergy thread, but the Forum is not letting me.
I just rooted my EVO Shift 4G and installed the Rom, everything was looking good, but now I have an issue when I put the phone into sleep mode instead of it staying in sleep mode it shuts all the way off(Were I start to see the boot automation). It didn't do this before Rooting, but now it is.
Thanks for any help.

I did not install any kernel or wild third party apps. I will try that Guide and let you know how everything went.
Thanks.

alright, and the reason you cant post in the dev forum yet is you need atleast 10 posts in general threads to be able to post in the dev section
It looks like the guide fixed everything. Thanks so much.

Hello
I'm running CleanROM 2.0 and whenever I want to make a call, com.android.phone stops responding. I looked for a solution in similar threads, most of them suggested removing FB Sync, which I already had off.
Btw, I'm using the phone on GSM right now. Can anyone help?
I would say wipe both caches and re flash the ROM. If that doesn't do it, wipe data.
The first suggestion is what I would recommend in any circumstance while troubleshooting.

I already tried wiping and reflashing, it worked for few hours and then stopped again... I think there's an app that is causing this problem. I even tried to fix permissions, it didnt work as well

Sounds like it might be the ROM to me. Not to sound like an arrogant a-hole but, have you asked in it's thread? You'll probably get a lot better troubleshooting there IMO.

I thought that as well, so I flashed Beans ROM, got the same problem.
Could it be because I'm using the phone for GSM and I'm outside the US now, so after flashing the ROM the phone is not activating?
I am having a lot of reboots and lags/freezing of apps. Is there a way to get the previous build? I had no issues with that build.
Thank you

Did you flash the latest from the previous Avatar ROM? If yes, you should still have it on your phone, don't you? Good rule is not to delete ROMs until you know the next one works.
No, lesson learned. I actually had gone all the way back to stock, wanting to give gb a try again, but the wifi was awful and rely a lot on wifi. So, I went all the back to jb and flashed the latest avatar.

Well 3.5 is pretty stable. I would do a reset, flash it again per OP instructions and let it settle. Do a factory reset, wipe cache and Dalvik and not a dirty flash.

I did that in the beginning. I have never done a dirty flash. Though on some roms, they can be buggy. I accept that, not complaining. I will consider reflash with a clean start.
3.5 is my stable version right now. I'm working on version 4.5

Ok, thanks, looking forward to new version. I did another complete wipe and relfashed and I am still having lags and random reboots/stuck on boot logo happening after reflash.

Yes, though I just downloaded your latest version. I will try it and let you know how it goes. I do love this rom. Love the battery and love the themes.
As can be gleaned from the thread title, I install the latest Synergy ROM (484) and my camera app crashes as well as GPS failing to lock on. I have tried different camera apps and using GPS Status. Does anyone know of a fix, as I've tried searching through the 3000 page forum? LOL
Thanks in advance for any help
I just rewiped and flashed and now my GPS is working, but camera is still broken. :'(
Flash a different kernel. Like kt747 tw version.

Doubt if anyone has a fix because the ROM is not broken. I've used the last 3 builds and never had a problem. Download fresh and wipe and try again. I recommend starting with the included stock kernel. and oh yes, make sure you are on the correct modem firmware wince the ROM does not install that.
Bad download? Try downloading again.

Did you superwipe? Flash any firmware update?
Firmware is key. Not all roms have been rebased to match the newest. Make sure you flash the firmware with .Tz file. Seen pages of people with camera problems on synergy because of this.

I'm sorry if I implied the ROM was at fault, perhaps I am missing some step, but I did just now do a complete wipe (3x), re-downloaded the ROM and firmware, and it seems the only problem MY phone has is the Camera

Tried that. *Sigh* I think I am going to go to a different ROM, not having the Camera work is a dealbreaker. Whether it's ignorance on my part, or lack of documented resolutions for this problem that I have seen others have, I can't go this long without it.
Maybe flashing another ROM and coming back at a later time may solve the issue.

I had the same problem and I fixed it by flashing a different kernel. I used the kt47 kernel and Now everything works.
Good luck

OP, try this if you havent been done with this problem already. its 4am for me right now and I'm tired as balls and was at my wits end but then after flashing god knows how many different options hoping the camera would magically come back...i flash the kt747 tw kernel and its all gravy now. I dont understand how. I dont want or need to understand how. I am thankful! :good:
Where can I find whats working & whats not working on latest build?
Thanks!

There are always things that could be buggy in a nightly. But I think your question is more along the lines of, "is there anything in this that is going to make my phone stop working for certain key things?" It should be plenty stable. But honestly if they knew it was completely stable, they wouldn't consider it a nightly. I have been using it without any trouble.
I would say do a nandroid of your current stuff, and flash away. You will quickly find out within a few days if there is anything you can't live with.
I recently switched to cm12 nightly.. And i am happy doing so.. Its much stable and battery backup has been optimised...
