This is awesome news and long overdue happening but big thanks to m1cha for all his hard work in brining this project to life! Full sources are also available, hit the link above to get the full details and check out the projects progress.

Download MIUICamera.apk
Copy the file to your Phone(via MTP)
Install the App via your favourite FileExplorer

I say bravo! It works even better than Cyanogen, when I rotate the phone, there isn't the freeze like AOSP versions, and perhaps even with TW.

This is for v3.70 based deodexed ROMs.
Are you like me and you don't like the stock update frequencies of 1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, once a day?
Where I live the weather can change quickly, and I wanted some better options on update frequency for my weather.

I just included this in the latest version of my Eternal Prophecy ROM. Works perfect and is what I've been wanting for a very long time. One hour just seems too long if your weather could change a lot in that time.

AS I PRESENTED ICS PERFECTED WELL NOW ITS GINGER PERFECTED. ANOTHER THEME PORTED. AGAIN IM TRYING TO JUMP START THEME SECTION SO WE CAN HAVE SOME THEMES TO FLASH AROUND WITH EVEN THO THEY'RE NOT MADE BY ME BUT THE HARD WORK IS BEING DONE PORTING THEM. haha its in progress tho alot needs to be fixed .. like phone dialer, camera mod, hopefully lockscreen aosp if possible rather then porting jkay right now..

OMX is doesn't fixed, as the PA build from shaan.
Same call issues, video from gallery doesn't work, camcorder doesn't work, YouTube from playstore doesn't play videos.

I'm eager to ask: if the omx related things don't work, could we then replace some files (probably libs I think) from current CM10.1 to make it working? currently I haven't got much time to do it myself
install this rom and was wrong. but after applying performance settings but not restart! and shame that still does not work the camcorder

This is based on CyanogenMod 10.2 messaging app, tested with CM and stock.
Works for:
Cyanogenmod 10.2 (and probably 10.1)
Any stock or cm based 4.3 ROM
Any stock 4.4 based ROM
It's built for mako but should run fine on any device running one of the above ROMs.
I've been working on converting the CyanogenMod messaging app to use a SlidingPaneLayout like the Hangouts app from google. I personally prefer to use the stock messaging app as I never talk to people on google+. Since google decided to abandon the stock app, I decided I'd take a shot giving it a little refresh.
It's currently a work in progress so you may encounter bugs. If you do, you should post them so I can fix them! I have most of the kinks worked out already though so it should work as a default messaging app for now.

I Tried third party kitkat camera from playstore but it didnot solve my problem where as JB camera+ is working good.
Is there any solution for this ?

Kit Kat is still in beta stages on i727. so bugs are expected and nothing much you can do.
With that said, I was running CM 11 nightly and they worked fine for me with only a few hiccups. try going back to stock and testing a CM 11 nightly.
