Hi all, has anyone got a case for their surface pro 3 yet or are you simply carrying it in a laptop bag? I've been having a look on Amazon here and can't quite decide which style to go for. I'm think that a thin sleeve case would be best as I have the type cover already and a tempered glass screen protector as well.
Keen to here your thoughts!

I have a Surface Pro 3 and in my view, the best case is the Maroo leather on from the Microsoft store.. It has got a loop inside for the stylus/pen and really looks good! I ordered mine on a Sunday and it arrived on the Tuesday!

With the release of the DELL Venue Pro there should be an outburst of cases coming. What about screen protectors? getting one or riding alone..
I am waiting for Martinfields to come out with a screen protector for DVP.
did a little searching before I bought the otterbox and couldnt find much. The otterbox comes with a screen protector.
Im really look for a clip type holster like the BB's
i don't believe that the otterbox case has a clip... the pic's that i saw on the website show a flush back. Unless i missed something

I don't really believe in cases. Especially with this device, which is already massive. Gorillia Glass is already scrath-resistant. But if I had to pick one, I'd probably opt for something with a belt clip. What does the length of the phone come to when the keyboard is extended?

I currently use the brand "Poetic" case I got off Amazon. I love it and it has great build quality. It is currently on my Dell Venue Pro 8". My Dell Venue Pro 11" will be here Tuesday the 10th and I went with the Dell brand case. I will let y'all know how it goes. I am currently selling my 8 on Craigslist.
I bought just the Platinum Series case that best buy sales it was a very nice case. GPS friendly could still get a lock inside my house, the inside was lined with a velvet like material and it had a very tight fit. The only thing I didnt like about it was the volume and power buttons were exposed, so I took it back and had them order me a Platinum Defense Series case. It has the rubber around it like the otterbox defender series. The guy at the store said you could use it with or without the rubber.Very nice looking cases .... and they also come with a belt clip.
Suppose to be in on Tuesday so I will let yall know how it is.

Yeah I work at Best Buy and had one for a while, got the Case-Mate Tough Case. It is actually a rebranded Seidio (Innocase) product, and is pretty nice overall. However, the Tough Case is my favorite so far...

I have the Platinum Series, and love it. HIGHLY recommended. If done correctly, when removing the bottom cover of this case, it also removes the sim cover.
I have a platinum case very well designed. Had one for the Captivate too.

I have the case and I absolutely love it.
I have this same case and no complaints here.
So I know I posted about this case earlier in the thread... But mine just took a tumble down 4 stairs and slid on the pavement. The case took the beating, and the phone is fine. Well worth every penny spent on it.
+1 here too. I love the case, I ride my motorcycle with the phone clipped to my belt, never worry about losing it.. Nice fit, secure lock into the case..

This case it is useless if ur using it with and screen protector. It does pull the bottom edges on them. I have use both a Clear Coat and an Skinomi with the same result
Since this is a rebranded seidio case can the platinum case be used with the seidio rugged case known now as the convert case.
Pt case
On my Inspire 4G, I have the Pt case, with a Zagg screen cover and they work very well together. I don't feel the same damage prevention security I did with my otter on the iphone, but very close. That being said, I know this phone is not separating from the belt lock down case. With the case had a kickstand tho...since the phone doesn't.

I disagree. I use my case WITH a screen protector. you are being too hasty to put your case on. I was able to reproduce this with mine, but I had to put the casing on pretty quickly to do it.
SIDENOTE: Once you apply your new screen protector, wait 25 minutes or so before putting your case on. This will allow the screen protector to stay adheared to the screen.

I have no idea. I'm not buying one from Otterbox. I'll wait until they're half-price on Amazon or eBay.

I had the Otterbox Defender for the Note 2, and it was fabulous... the confidence knowing that the phone is protected.
The Otterbox Defender for Note 8 is tempting but the cost is too much so I am considering the Poetic Evolution at half the cost....

Experience with the OD on the N2 says it does not cover the pen hatch nor the home button (also like the pics for the N8 version), where lots of dirt collects under the screen, but the PE covers everything giving more protection.
Did you do the comparison before you bought the OD?
I did not see the poetic one, looks like a decent case does it have the front snap on cover like the OD? The only other case I used was the Samung folio cover and it really doesnt offer any protection at all. I have used Otter Box in the past and they have never let me down.

Sorry I referred to the case as Evolution but its a Revolution case.
No cover but built-in stand for both portrait and landscape modes for 29.95 with protection over the camera too.

I want to share with you my new purchase. I bought on pdair.com ,was a bit expensive 110$ , but is a very good leather and fit the tab perfectly. I didnt like Samsung case and other amazon cases so i had to find other solution... This remind me of my old BlackBerry 9000

I have the Samsung Book Cover and really like it but now, well, you see, I have a leather fetish. No, not sexual, just products. 10 pair of leather boots, 5 leather jackets, and even suede and leather pants, ouch! I really like that cover of yours and will have to get get one because, well, it's leather. I paid an astronomical amount for my leather case for my Alienware 14 so this won't be so bad. Thanks for sharing.

Hehe I got a black 10$ case on ebay.
I just use an cheap ebay case and it works great and is extremely light and add virtually no bulk and it can be positioned to watch video , and i keep it in a cheap padded zip case when it not being used.

Hi guys, the note 9 has been in the market for sometime and was wondering what's the best rugged case for this phone, I read a few sites but they are all reviewing case when the phone came out and I'm more interested in long term reviews, same with a screen protector, what is the best out there that works well with a case?
Been thinking on going with the otterbox as that is what I have always used with no problem but just read about issues with the note 8 and the otterbox plastic shell making contact with the glass and braking it. I don't mind the bulkiness at all as I work outdoors and I would like to get a belt clip if possible but at the end I would be willing to scarify the holster for the best protection possible.

I can tell you that the Amazon cheap glass protectors and stores like t-mobile that sell them for 45 are almost the same in terms of durability. Store bought are smoother at top and bottom edges. But al use dot matrix with adhesive @top and bottom sensitivity for glass covers has to be turned on. I use a luvvit soft case. I have ever since s5 and always had great results i like thin and protective. My friend has a clone otterbox and it's saved him half a dozen times.
