Hi my friends am new here i just unlocked my t-mobile samsung s3 am in nigeria and i am using airtel network on it.calls and sms ar working fine but i keep having edge. Signal i ve used *#*#4636#*#* to get the menu page please anybody has any help for me?is been very frustrating.please how do i get hspa+ on it.
Weather ornot you get H+ depends on
1. Does your Carrier offer H+ ?
2. Do you have the right Access Point Name (APN) set up ?

I get 0 service in my house and so I'm deciding if I'm going to try and mess with the phone...... Does anyone have any idea if what I want to do is possible?
I have an AT&T LG G2 phone (D800), that is running on Metro PCS (but basically the t-mobile network and the APN settings are t-mobile settings).
I really need standard wifi calling because I have no service in my house. I was considering:
Rooting & Flashing a T-mobile ROM that includes the wifi calling (hoping that even exists for LG G2).
Does anyone out there have experience to know if this is going to do anything for me?
An Alternate Q - if I switched officially to T-mobile and used the existing steps would I be able to use wifi calling? I'm hoping this is a more standard Q and someone out there has tried.....

I have a s4 running stock, and it only gets 3g on verizon. It is set for lte and i have swapped sims from other 4g phones and get 3g with those sims. I get great 4g service in my home so the signal is there to be had. Got a new sim from verizon and while in the store i got 4g. Guy in store says that they have some sort of booster there since they don't get great service in the building. Now after leaving building I have only 3g again. Samsung support says i should upgrade to 5.0.1 ( currently running 4.4.2) but i am not interested in doing that. Anyone have any ideas on how or what might be going on.

Hi im kinda newbie here..im from philippines.i just want to ask why i cant use mobile data from korean variants in my country..the 3g/4g is enabled and apn is set already.on the top of my phone it has a 3g signal but when i tried to do surfing,you tube etc etc.it always says no internet connections.i also have lg g2 d800 and mobile data works well.why is that??i have 4 korean variants devices and they all have issues.pls help me on this matter.

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
I don't think the cause of the lagging mobile network was caused by rooting. Rather, it probably has to do with the move from Verizon to Cricket (an AT&T MVNO).
Not a big deal in the long run, because there is a tweak possible to get LTE. Check this thread out:

Any questions about the process, you can ask there as well (once you have registered for an XDA account).

Hi there can anyone help me out ....im in australia i use the oukitel k10000 for more than a year with telstra 4g network ....form the 1st of December telstra turned off their 2g network so now my phone does not work can not make or receive calls or send text messages ..from what i am told the voice side was bouncing off the 2g network so is there a way i can make my phone work on the 4g ..thanks
