Poetic Palette SLIM premium hard case

Poetic may become my favorite accessory maker. They are making sooo many products for our phone. I really like the look of this hard case too. The biggest thing for me is how it covers all the corners where most slim cases only cover the sides.

looks exactly like the Rearth SLIM... plus it uses the name "SLIM"
$5 for a case is quite a steal.

I completely agree, except that it covers all 4 edges. For 5, ill take a gamble on it.

oh... when he defined edge, i thought he meant the corners
this case doesnt necessarily cover the WHOLE edge, it covers more than the rearth one but not all.. cut out for usb is bigger

aww..wouldve jumped on this if its not because it doesnt cover the bezels...
anyways, having a diztronic & soon to arrive poetic-bumper is enough for me.
unless something really cool comes out, Im a happy camper...for now...

i have to say i got one of these cases for 5 bucks and its pretty great. now its a 4.50.. no brainer on amazon for that price.

I have one of these and used it prior to my Ringke Fusion case.
It got thrown from the car once in the SLIM case and it did its job well, protected the phone.

even here at phil its so hard to find that kind of case..

I've been looking for a good one myself and have managed to find some decent ones on Amazon. One of the ones that I got from there was a rubber/hard cover combo that came with a screen protector and a belt clip. The upside to this particular case is that it comes with a kickstand on the back so you don't have to prop up your phone against something to watch a video or some such action. Downside to is that you can easily take the case off without taking off the hard cover part. Just search around to see if there is anything that is particular to your liking. :good:

home made lego case
I made it for fun with a lego board heated in the oven and fitted to an old leather case (leather removed, just keeped the plastic)

My new création,
I made it with stainless steel bars (diameter=1.6mm)
Thé bars are braid (with just my hands and a hammer), made the welding with
A 'TIG machine'
It's really hard but heavy (213 grams !!!)

Draco just released their HYDRA case for the S4. A non-Ducati branded case will be released next week as well. They look great, but it looks like they add quite a lot of width to the phone.
I ordered the new ElementCase Eclipse case, and if I don't end up liking that I'm going to order one of the Draco cases and give it a shot.

OEM means original equipment manufacturer, the complete opposite of fake. And yes, the fakes are out. But they're also usually really bad quality compared to the real ones.

New Airborne cases were released today. I like them much better than the HYDRA ones. And they're a bit cheaper too.

The Hydra cases are beautiful. However, that's a steep price to pay for a case, luxury item or not.

these case are very stunning looking. i just can't see spending that much on a case. there are far to many less expensive alternatives out there.

Is there a lip on either side? It looks flush is most pics. I was just wondering about lying it down and scratching up the camera cover or the front glass.

Their cases have almost no lay on table rim. They work nicely with glass screen protectors though.

So it makes your phone huge? uhh no thanks

dam almost 100 bucks just for a stinking case? I don't see myself ever shelling more than 50 bucks for a case

I was excited for the case at first, but I watched Youtube review videos and I realized how ugly and huge it is...

I wonder if this case would this interfere with wireless charging or NFC

My understanding is that this is a bumper so the back is completely exposed (allowing wireless charging and NFC to work completely).

any comments about this who have and what about nillkin brand?

No comment on the brand name. China brand names are mostly just names on generic product. Didn't like the aluminum bumpers on any of my phones. Tried it with a Note 2 and S4. They're bulky, have a slight gap because of the thin neoprene layer. Just didn't care for it. I like the idea of a tpu bumper and replacement battery cover as a minimalist look with protection. Only wish they'd make a battery cover with a kickstand, then I'd go with the bumper and have a great combo.

I like the look... I already order 3 cases that I probably wont use much...lol

Funny how the labeled the mic holes as speaker holes.... on a positive note it looks like the cut out is big enough to fit both designed.

I had this bumper for my LG G3. Nillkin makes really solid cases. Very good quality.

I also ordered black color. Pls who received the bumper write here comments and pls attach pictures.

I am a sucker... I order one. Lol

Not the case with Nillkin, they make their stuff in-house and it's not generic rebranded stuff. They make quality cases/screen protectors.

Pretty pricey for a case that came from china, usually even the spigen knock offs cost 5.99 but I'm ordering a red one soon

Mine Orange color is also still in transit from China.

Thinking about moving from a case to a skin. Was curious if anyone else has skinned their M9, and which brand you used. Don't want to fly blind if someone has had a good or bad experience with theirs.

I have used 2 d brand skins and they look nice it's just hard to get them perfect on the curved corners on the phone.

Yeah, I use a hair dryer to heat them up so they conform well.
dbrand has great video tutorials on their site.

Slickwraps are the way to go. Had them on my last 3 phones.

I've used dbrand and slick wraps on my last few phones. Can't go wrong with either. Dbrand carbon fiber is a little slippery though.

Slickwraps is really good. I've been buying wraps from them for many of my devices and they are excellent. I stopped buying from them though, because when I got a wrap for the M9, it lasted only about a week because it started too detach from the sides. I contacted the company and they said they couldn't do anything to help me. I was surprised because they are always very attentive with their customers. Regardless of this situation, I can say that their wraps are just great and would recommend them to anyone. I'll probably get a glow in the dark one once I'm over this little inconvenience.

Vinyl skins can be manufactured very cheaply, but in my experience, you get what you pay for with this kind of stuff when it comes to fit, durability, and appearance.
And it's not like name-brand skins are that pricey. I just got the mahogany front skins from dbrand, and the fit and look are perfect. $5 with shipping.
