Can't install DayDream Rom on G2x p999
I tried to install the daydream rom on my g2x but whenever I try it aborts.

Hi, I am getting an error - "Installation Aborted" while installing this. Is there a minimum version of CWM recovery that I should use for flashing this ROM. I currently have 4.0.1.5.
Also, shall I be on some minimum version of ROM for this to work. I currently have gingerbread.

I have tried with the updated CWM recovery also (5.0.2.0)
I try to install this rom but it error "startus 0", please check this rom again. thanks
I don't think there is anyone on earth that can get KK to work on the g2x. Even ICS and JB were broken as hell for this phone. Not to mention the ROM would have to be made without a lot of features due to partition sizes and such. I would regard this post as a bad joke, but I hope for your sakes I'm wrong.

Are all of you getting error code status 0 , if so I just have to laugh here if any of you know any programming language then you'll know what exit(0); does , status zero means it exited with no problems , whether it be installed and you don't realize it or its in the code and meant to be there for some reason

This does not mean it installed and exited with no problems. Why revive a dead thread in the first place? The ROM mentioned isn't even available anymore.
Reason for replying
My reason for replying was simple , I was doing some research and found this thread , a friend of mine had this phone , so was looking to see what was best to put on the device , it's currently running 4.4.2 very smoothly and I never said it installed I said it exited with status 0 as in no errors reported and exit ,"or its in the code and meant to be there for some reason" , anyway last response from me if you keep the thread dead
This whole G2x forum is dead, so there is no way you can avoid reviving dead threads unless you create a new redundant one.

Yeah, sorry man the rom hasn't been updated in ages and I have no plans on updating it. Unfortunately this is a really forsaken device in terms of the level of developer support and support from HTC and Snapdragon as a a whole. I've moved on to another phone and I recommend you move on from it too.

Well, in fact it just has been updated by somebody else....mikronac.ns just started to build this ROM several days ago and his builds are up to date

bugs
It sometimes reboots, usually when I am unlocking the phone. Seems like every internet browser is lagging hard, that's the main reason why I changed the ROM. Anyway, CarbonROM with android 4.3.1 is working fine for me and I find it the best (as the dwl links for PAC-MAN and CM11 are broken). Plus it has Halo.
Gapps won't install on Carbon for HTC Ville s3

I just flashed the Carbon ROM for my HTV Ville S3 and it worked perfectly. However, I am not able to flash the GAPPS, I tried with the four GAPPS versions for this ROM and still not working. I am getting this error:
E:Error executing updater binary in zip [...] error flashing zip [...]

Hello Team,
I have installed ROM in my HTC One S villec2 model. The ROM is just so awesome and light and I thank team for the great work ahead. Waiting for Carbon to launch Android 5 for villec2 the same way ASAP
There are few issues that I have seen in last 24 hours since I installed it:
1) Camera is not capturing Videos. Though it shows it is recording them, but never saves them in Gallery.
2) Intermittent reboot. I really don't know the pattern or steps to reproduce the issue.
3) Keyboard is getting crashed very often.(This could also be due to wrong gapps that I might have installed, please provide link in case).
4) Screenshot is not working.
If there is any latest patch to fix these issues, please let me know so that I can enjoy this great piece of work by team CARBON.

All images on kernel 3.4.x don't have a future without modifying the kernel due to major bugs. You should not try.

I once had green machine kernel installed, even after a complete wipe and stock kernel install the logo persists. anyone know how to remove it?

You must flash a new bootlogo to replace the existing one. This is a good tool for doing so. Good luck

Problem
hello, first of all good rom. I wanted to ask for help.
Initially your rom worked perfectly, but from 2 months I have problems with my SD; or better with saving the data on it, both memory have the same problem.
For example, with files downloaded from the browser, when the downloading and, the smartphone does not "detect/ read" the file and I have to necessarily use an APP for re-scan or re-boot to see and use the file at issue.
apparently is a problem writing, because if I try to searching the file with a file browser, the file is present but not readable.
sometimes it also happens with the camera.
until now, I have try to changed the external SD and re-flashing ROM without solving the problem.
I use the Kernel of Shazo
Any suggestions?

First update to ics v30a/b bevor flashing this. Then install wparks bootloader. After that flash the recovery. Now you are rdy to flash the rom. If you get an security error after flashing make a factory reset...

I have an Infuse 4G which is running Android 2.3.6 (Stock), never been rooted before. I made a decision that I want to upgrade it to jellybean, the instructions were easy, but the problem is that The UCLB3 (ODIN ROOT 1.1) file isn't available anywhere thus I can't download it. Can you guys please provide me with the File? As I really wanted to install Jellybean on my device ASAP!

I got 10.1 in backup for sure, maybe 10.2 but I considered that download corrupt as I could never properly install it. Will dropbox it tonight, so if you don't see a link by midnight UTC drop me a line.

So about 2 days ago, I upgraded my Infuse 4G To Jellybean using this rom and it worked perfectly. Today I installed the Google apps from the link down below and Installed the package onto my device, It went successful but when the device rebooted I kept getting the keyboard message, I looked on the web people said that try to clear data cache, so i did but that didn't help. I know have a phone without a keyboard, I need help that how can I fix this.
Hope you guys reply ASAP!

You have the wrong GApps installed. Try following one of the suggestions in the link below to get the right Gapps on your phone:

Can i install it with CWM or Philz?
There's any way to install this ROM with CWM or Philz Recovery? i get error 1 in both of them, and TWRP simply does not work on my XT1032, i get a black screen, i press power after screen suspends and TWRP shows, but touchscreen does not work at all.
