[GUIDE]Edit WhatsApp sent and received messages - Android General

This guide basically tells you how to change whatsapp's received and sent messages without extracting backup restoring and all
1)first of all you need to root your phone!
2)download asqlite manager from here
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dk.andsen.asqlitemanager
3)open asqlite
4)navigate to /data/data/com.whatsapp/databases
5)open messagestore.db
6)select messages
7)click on data
8)now just locate the message you want to edit
9)click on edit
10)edit the data
11)press back twice
12)force close WhatsApp and run again
The message is now edited

How to backup apk file with data ?

Iam having a rooted android , but I need to backup built in apps and need to backup downloaded apps form play store with game settings and scores or points in it , to distribute to others ,
I am already having titanium backup which , doesn't hive apk file and gives out with apk.GHz , tar.GHz , osteic.gz etc....
So I can't distribute it with my friends and colleagues.
So please help me out and suggest me a good app

You can use xender to transfer apps over wifi...
You don't even need to have apk The software makes apk and sends it over

Hi everyone is it possible to install pre install app to other android device.

you can make backup of every apps (user and system) with es file explorer..... open menu of es explorer and under tools you will see app manager option....
The backup will be in .apk format...
now you can send this apk to any other device and test if it working or not
..
but some apps will not run on other device...

Go to this for downloading resflux...install.Then open xposed installer...tick the app reboot

Download and install
Then open x plore..long press an apk(like an icon pack or a theme)then select the option open as zip.copy the res folder to SD card.
Open resflux
Open laboratory
Select system ui(or any other app)
It would take some time(have a cup of tea):beer: for building resources.
After building is complete select drawable...change all icons as u wish
Select color to change colours of different ui elements....
Click back button
Export the app u modified
Reboot!!!
U can also import changes later

Download and unzip u will get thousands of icons.
Also try other icons by downloading icon packs and copy the res folder to your phone.use x plore app from play store.

Thanks bro, but i cant found the images that i want. That are camera, blocking mode, services, music, thetering, internet, batery and wifi :/
Download big white icons from play store and copy the res folder from that.....u can also try other different icon packs.....

Use a file explorer
I recommend ES file explorer
1 . Open es file explorer
2 . Grant root access
3 . Change browse permission through root menu
4 . Goto root /system/app menu and delete which app you want
Remember, thing what you are doing before deleting it .

1. YOU WILL HAVE TO DOWNLOAD 7zip.exe for computer or pc ...... than install it.
Here is the link for 7zip : http://www.7-zip.org/download.html
2. Now copy your systemui.apk in your pc from your phone's system/app.
3. Then open archive by right clicking on yours systemui through 7zip that u have already installed.
4. Then find the pic that u want to change with your own pic.. i thnk it will be in "hdpi-mdpi" something like this , not the perfect spelling.. you can easily search it.
5. Then copy the pic's name in the systemui.apk.
6. Then rename your pic's name with the copied name.
7. Then paste it in the folder of systemui where the pic is present.
8. Then copy the systemui.apk to your phone and change it with the original systemui.apk .
