[Q] Notification Power Widgets

Hi,
I would have posted this in the Codename Android thread but since I'm a new user it seems I'm forced to clog up this forum. Sorry.
Anyway, I just upgraded from Codename Android 3.6.6 to 3.8.0. It's good but they seem to have removed one of the notification centre power widgets - there used to be two and now the one I was using isn't there any more. The other one does the job but isn't as customisable and the 2g/3g toggle doesn't seem to work.
So I was wondering if anyone could help me obtain an apk for the power widget, or alternatively recommend me one that is customisable and has a 2g/3g toggle that isn't just a settings shortcut.

Thanks, but I've actually tried that one before and it doesn't have a 3G toggle. I was kind of hoping someone would just whip out an apk from an older version...
Would it be possible for me to lift the feature from an older version of CNA, and install it on this? Or would I have to program something? I can't really do that...

[Q] Android L - Keyboard Disappearing

Maybe this is just me or I am asking the wrong question. Up until this newest preview of Android L, my Nexus 5 has worked great with Android L. While typing a message or search, the keyboard will automatically "disappear" or "hide" so to speak. I have to re-select the input text box to que the keyboard again to resume typing. I know this may be a long shot, but is there anyone else have/had this issue?

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I've tried the stock keyboard, SwiftKey, and Flesky. All the same results. Almost like the UI is bugging out.
EDIT 2: Just after throwing this post out there, the phone randomly rebooted. Should I do a logcat or some other systemfile dump to the heck is going on?

Until the official release of Lollipop we are keeping all discussions and Q&A to one thread here as bugs maybe fixed by then. Please post in there for now.

question: the download link eventually brings me to BasketBuild where nightly builds reside. very nice, but do you guys maintain a changelog? how do i know when it's worth to download a new build?
To check changelogs of the nightlies I just browse the 'merged' section of their Git. See here

Amazing rom, the best lollipop I've ever tried for my one XL, especially with F2FS partitions!
However I've noticed the alarm volume for any app is set very, very low and there doesn't seem to be a way to change it

Newby question: Are the CM nightly updates included in the pac-rom nightlies or are they merged in on a larger time interval?
Edit: Or is each individual merge in CM carefully deliberated on a case-by-case basis for the pac-rom nightlies? <- I think it's this from what I'm reading between the two gerrits

Hi, I just flashed this coming from 4.4 Liberty Rom, in which i had working swipe to wake and double tap to wake feature. Is there any way I can install that on this rom?
Also, it seems that I have loose my root on this rom, should I do something special?

I've just flashed this ROM (pac_evita-lp-Nightly-20150503, clean install), and everything worked fine except for phone part. My phone doesn't receive incoming calls at all (it doesn't even show that somebody is calling). And I can make an outgoing call, but only once per boot. The dialer freezes when I try to terminate by pressing red button (the phone is working, but I can't use dialer until reboot). I've found similar problem in a thread (but in my case it's not sometimes, it's every time):

I've tried to apply this fix but it didn't help. I've changed hboot from 2.18 to 2.15 (just in case) but it didn't help either. My radio is 1.31a.32.45.16_2

1. whenever i open clock ->settings-> widget settings It says activity not found as a toast message.
2. neither the digital clock widget nor the notification bar are able to display the weather.

On the official ROM (pac_evita_LP-MR1.Beta-1.Official_20150517-005227.zip ) - seems as though there is no widget for the day/time Clock. When clicking Widget settings in Clock, it says: "Activity not found!".
Otherwise, everything seems to work & very nice & smooth.

20150524-212050 is all good, just miss the thin battery charging animation in status bar. I had it in 5.0.x, can't find it now.
Also, the FM Radio app always leaves the "FM is turned off" text onscreen unless scrolling text covers it. Does this occur on the original hardware?

Weather has not worked for me on lollipop. XWidgets weather works...

I don't know if this is rom specific, but where can I disable keyboard vibration for the lollipop keyboard?
This ROM is so much faster than CM12.1, CM is unable slow.

thank you very much for your work, this ROM is pretty damn fast! It feels like I bought me a new phone.
Although this is my second custom firmware , so it may be a subjective opinion. Tried MIUI 4.1.1 (the latest I found in Russian). God, it's so slooow.
The minor issue is that dialing fast numbers from the main dial screen lags a bit, but I can live with that.
And the major flaw is the battery time. It wasn't great with the stock ROM, but again the battery itself is 2 years old.
Actually with this ROM I can use my phone as a mobile heater when using LTE or Wi-Fi. The power draw is critical. It won't last half a day when actively used. Battery Doctor and Clean Master are being used. Autostart is modified, some stock apps killed.
Is there a way to vastly optimise a battery consumption? Maybe another radio module firmware or something?

I have no more storage to install/update apps, only 230MB, although internal storage shows 24gb free.

AT&T HTC one X. LP-MR1 Beta-1 Official build 5/24/15. Camera app can take pictures, but I can't record videos, stock Camera app and Open Camera.
I've reset the phone, clean installed, tried different photo apps. Open Camera actually says "Failed to record video". Anyone else have this issue?

Major issues!
Phone loses network constantly, have to switch to airplane mode and back.
After each program installation shell reboots.
Still heavy battery draining.
I'd better roll back to 4.4...

Searching for a minimal lockscreen [Lollipop]

Hello everyone!
As the title says, I'm looking for a minimal homescreen replacement. Atm I got CM 12.1 running on my Nexus 6 and I'm pretty happy with it so far but I'm still not satisfied with the lockscreen.
I'm searching for an app like WidgetLocker, where I can create my OWN lockscreen, in terms of a slider/clock/etc. Is there any app out there that can handle this?
Would be awesome if you guys could help me!

My launcher is a close to AOSP launcher that only changes the necessary code to allow for small extensions and backporting to older Android versions. If you want a more feature packed launcher use Nova, Action or Lawnchair. I focus on simplicity and rock solid stability. I am having issues installing this on a Nexus 6P with the latest Android O developer preview installed. Installation progress bar freezes at about the 90% mark and the installation fails. Has anyone been able to successfully install this on a device running the O developer preview?

Ended up wiping and starting fresh with the O developer preview. After doing so, Launcher3 installed without issue. Is there any way to get the Pixel icons working with this? I downloaded the Pixel icons for 7.1.2 from apk mirror, but it doesn't seem to have taken. Thanks.

Its like dream come true for me... using it on my Galaxy S8... But I have two requests and an issue:
1. could your please support pixel exclusive automatic round icons for supported apps... it is possible as Action Launcher 3 has this feature with Round Icon Option on non rooted phone.
2. Is it possible to overwrite app closing animation like stock android (slide down). this feature is available in Nova Launcher through "Reveal App Animation". I don't like the default zoom out closing app animation of my Galaxy S8.
3. Check the screenshot: the Navigation bar color is muted .. not white .. gray color.. this is related to Poor Samsung design... Nova launcher has fixed the issue... But each and every other 3rd party launcher has same problem.. kindly look into the matter..! Thanks..

- Possibly fixed Samsung's Secure Folder and MIUI from causing crashes
- Updated the requested Google Now overlay version from v0 to v5, like the O Pixel Launcher
- (EXTREMELY EXPERIMENTAL) added an entire library of obfuscated code to get the app shortcut row working
- Added a toggle for the app shortcuts, so you can disable them if they do not work properly
- Force the Pixel colours throughout the app, including the widgets and preferences
There is also a version without the entire app suggestions library in it, if it causes any problems you should try that one.

Anyway to get round icons without needing to change systemui or have root access ?

On a side note : I've tried it on my Galaxy S8, and I was not able to get the weather to show, irregardless of the number of time I've pulled down the cards to refresh google feed.
Do you happen to have an idea on how I could fix it ?
Also on a side-side note, would you implement icon support into it ? As with samsung ROMs we have the ugly looking icons instead of rounded/pixel ones.
