Hi, there. Today I changed my pin number and forgot what I set after I woke up from sleep
Is there any way to bypass the lock screen? Also, wifi on my device is off.
No bypass for ordinary mortals...

There is no way around the double swipe from what I have seen. I have used Lollipop on my Nexus 4, Note 2, and Moto G.
Hey there, new to the forums here. I was wondering if any of you guys new a way to have it so that when I wake the device (note 3 running cyanogenmod 11) , it would be ready to put my pattern In rather then having to hit the lock icon right above the home button every time I unlock my phone. I know its possible, because that's how it was before, but I messed with the keyguard. Apk file it might not be like that anymore (even though I did make a backup and restored it so really it didn't make a difference) is there some kinda check box I need to rick somewhere? Any help would be appreciated.
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. That kind of defeats the purpose of having a pin or pattern unlock. But if you're on Android 5.x you can use smart lock, settings, security.

In my Screen Lock options there are only Swipe, Pattern, PIN and Password.
Tried to look around for solutions;
Some say clear credentials but my Clear Credential option is greyed out,
Some say remove guest account but when I change to Guest and remove it in the account options it reappears when i am switch back to Main account.
I never had a screen lock in 4.4.4 and I am so frustrated by it now, can someone help? thanks
edit: My device is rooted so I can edit the system files to enable None option if that is needed.

Depending on the device, firmware and settings, there can be different reasons.
I found one way here: AT&T Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [Q] Why can't I disable my lock screen? by emtiv334.
Or here: T-Mobile Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > Cant disable lock screen security by cliffclaven.
Without more information about your device and your firmware, I can not give better advices.
Set Swipe to unlock till you find your device's specific forum, then ask in the Help/Troubleshooting section.
Good luck !

Is there any way to see what is going on in a phone locked with pattern? I want to see the viber dialogs. I know I can get in with the pin after 5 wrong pattern tries, but this leaves the phone locked with pin and not with pattern anymore..
Thank you
No. Asking for advice for hacking into a locked phone isn't what this community is about. Thread closed.
Hi XDA, I have a Galaxy s8+.
My pattern lock is acting goofy, won't recognise the correct pattern. Fingerprint works fine so I can get into my phone. But entering security settings to disable pattern requires pattern.
Kind of scared to turn off my device.
I have all lost device software enabled and signed into Google. What can I do?
Edit: OK while I have both Samsung and Google Find My Device enabled, in my android settings apparently I didn't give permission to remote unlock. Turn it on? Requires pattern.
Thank you kindly ilu
