Hello, its my first post in here.
I have a problem that i'm using GT-I8262 with I8262XXBMJ4. It was updated in near line 2013. But a few days a new frame ware of GT-I8262 comes up. As i rooted my device i can't update my phone. Then i downloaded official latest version I8262XXBNH1 which built date is 12.08.2014. Now when i flash my rom with new stock rom I8262XXBNH1 then i try to root. But i can't , i also use all method like vRoot, Frameroot, Root Genius , Cydra implactor but all time i was can't. I noticed that there are something change with core new update. Like previous version aren't Google Drive and photo and other Samsung app. but now in this latest version i got all of thats. Now please anyone help me to root my device.

Hi. I am using Xperia M C1904. I was looking for a method to root my phone and found that it's hard to root it when it's on android 4.3. So, I downgraded it to 4.1.2(stock) and then rooted it. After that I unlocked the bootloader and flashed the 4.1.2 custom firmware again which has removed the root access. So currently I have a 4.1.2 unrooted xperia M with unlocked bootloader and custom recovery is not yet installed, and I wan't to upgrade to Cyanogenmod 11. I saw at many places that cm11 only supports android 4.3. So could you please guide me on what I should do now? I mean, do I need to root again for installing CWM recovery and then Cyanogenmod 11, should I upgrade to 4.3 and root again? (but is it possible to get full root on 4.3?) and then is there any specific version of CWM that I should install?

Recently i decided to put a custom rom on my phone.. I succeded using Monsters rom and when i checked settings it said that i have 4.4.2 now my problem is that i cant install any apps that are for android 4.3 or higher.. I tried 5.0 custom rom and the same problem is there. I can only install apps for 4.1.2. Can anyone explain this to me? Why does it say i have 4.4.2 when i cant use its apps?

Hi, I need help in upgrading my android version or installing a custom mod in my HCL Me Tablet. I have looked everywhere but couldn't not find supported upgrade for my tablet. I think installing custom mod also upgrades your android so please reply if you have any information.
Tablet information:
Name: HCL Me Tablet
Version: Connect-V3/Connect V3
Manufactor: HCL
Android Version: 4.1.2
Supports auto-update? Yes, but never updates
Note: There is also a manual update option where the update files should be named as "update.zip" and placed in Internal Memory (SDCard0). I guess this is for updating android version.

You may not be able to downgrade to stock 4.4. as samsung sometimes lock the bootloader. There are plenty of guides to root in the a series forums and there are custom roms you could flash through recovery to downgrade
