Hi,
Ive had Qik on my Symbian and it worked like this, I go in app on my phone and start recording and that is immediately transfered on my profile qik.com/XYXYXY, so everyone who is on that webpage sees what I am recording in real time. How does it work on Android with Qik app ? I go on my profile but no video is showing ? And whats up with that "Sharing" option ?? It takes names and phone numbers from phonebook ? I dont get it how is that sharing when you can see videos only on qik.com/XYXYXY website ? I am REALLY confused.
Tnx

all i know is, on recording in high quality mode, it doesn't even record because the screen is BLACK. i uploaded a video in normal mode and the quality was crap.
And did you manage to stream it in real time ? I am interrested only in streaming, I dont want to upload anything to server if I dont have to.
Tnx
did even see the option for streaming live videos.
Well, it has that possibility, I have used it on my Omnia HD.

Look at this movie, I click Go online but I dont get those red letters saying that I am streaming live :-/
Hi, is there any similar application as Nokia Movie Director that can make a video file using pictures and music?
Guess there isn’t any app like that
I would request some app for making movies on the phone too..
Tbh I'm disappointed that Android still lacks such an important function.. You can take pictures.. edit them.. record sound/voice.. cut them.. but what about videos?
It's time now, come on!
I have tried Qik on my Galaxy S, and it doesn't work.
Tried Justin TV but it lacks quality videos.
Which app could I use to stream live good quality videos (doesn't matter if I have to pay)
And is there another APP to have an online photo album? Something like I took a photo and it goes automatically online for the public?
I'm traveling tomorrow, and I want my family to see the places I visit.
Thanks
Take pictures and email them. Lol, j/k. Do they have the same phone as you or possible an Android based phone? If so try the app called tango.

what exactly is this for? i dont see an option for it when calling and the phone didnt come with a program for video calls? is it in the making?
well, you can take pics of yourself to upload onto facebook if your into that kind of thing. Sure beats the little chrome dot that your supposed to use as a mirror LOL
I am sure at some point there will be Skype and other programs that will and can use it. Just a matter of time
facing camera is for purpose using the video conference or taking a picture of yourself for some purpose like facebook or update your new face.
You can just download Tango or skype app or whatever your favorite video conference app.
You need the leaked skype.apk for skype video calling which on Sense 2.2 works great. CM7 also has Gtalk with video mostly working. I haven't tried Tango yet but I'm sure it works as well for video chatting.
I have used it with Yahoo Messenger with the video chat plugin and it works great.
Still waiting (patiently.....) for vid-chat support on Google Talk.
Yesterday I recorded videos with my phone. Today I wanted to watch them and I could watch two videos but I couldn't watch the third video. When I try to open it with the Albums app it says that "Cannot play video. Invalid URL." when I try to open it with Google photos app it just says that "Can't play video.". The video is in mp4 format and was recorded with my Sony Xperia Z2 running stock rom and not rooted. The three videos were recorded the same way. How can I recover that video? If you need more details just ask them. Please help!
Its probably not recoverable, that error you got suggests the video was from the web, a URL is usually for a web address. See if there is somewhere online that you were viewing videos on or an app that you may have viewed/downloaded a video in, see if you can view it like that.
can someone help?
If you can't view it then its corrupted, a corrupted video can't be fixed unless you're willing to tear the file open and manually edit each bit so that it shows all the video and audio that you want it to, if you've got a few months to play around with it. You'd have to fix every bit and piece from start to finish to make sure it plays right and shows what you originally recorded. That's no easy thing even for those that do it every day, it takes a lot of trial and error and extensive knowledge, you'd basically be computer generating all the missing pieces then you've got to get it to blend in so that it plays correctly. Its only ONE video, I hope it wasn't a really important one because unless you know how to piece it back together like a forensic scientist its gone for good, but I'm guessing that you don't have that kind of knowledge or you would have already done it, its been this long and you haven't fixed it and noone is answering so I'd say you're out of luck, give up on that ONE video and move on. Just saying I really think you're wasting your time.

ok, I couldn't do anything with it so I haven't wasted my time, but it was a good video, but not so important
