Hi there,
That is the correct place to be asking those questions!
As stated at the top of the XDA Assist forum it says:
This is not a support forum, but rather a place to get some help by being pointed to the right thread.

I don't want to just direct you back to the OnePlus One Q&A section. I'd suggest waiting a bit longer, maybe a day or so and then bump the thread to try get a response.
Thank you for understanding, thread closed!

Maybe if you posted in your phone's forum you might get an answer. Edit: Finally figured out you have the W1107 mtk6573 tablet. I don't think there is anything for that here on XDA. You can request a new forum for your device here. *** New Device Forum Requests ***
On the above note

This is the subtitle of this section;
Need help finding something? Let us help you find your way on XDA!
Yep, been here longer than you but navigation is not as clear as you make it out to be.
I did make an effort and this was the best choice for me before posting here.
Thanks for the link and the condescension

Hello. Since you are not a registered member, it's impossible to know which thread you are referencing (all unregistered posters in Assist show as "XDA Visitor"). Please provide a link to the thread in question so we can take a closer look.
Also, the policy for the free XDA Assist service is to provide a reply and then wait for follow up from the original poster. If there is no follow up after a certain amount of time, we assume that the original poster has lost interest or found their answer elsewhere and so the thread is closed.
The goal of XDA Assist is to encourage guests to join our community by becoming a member of the site and to help point people in the right direction to finding their own answers on the site. Questions are not typically answered directly.
So, to further investigate your complaint, we will need a link to the thread in question.
Thanks,

Hi,
While we try that such situations do not arise, but as plain and simple as it may sound - we are not Customer Services for devices. This is XDA and the main purpose of the Assist team is to help you in the right direction. No one is obligated to do so.
If you are all so concerned about your question not answered, do us all a favour and have yourself registered on XDA and then post the question so there is a record.
I will not allow you to take pot shots at our team hiding behind the Guest account.
Feel free to PM me your grievance, but again, please note that this is not a place you can come and have everything on a silver platter - though the Assist team almost does that for y'all.
This thread has been closed, with a warning to you that if another thread on similar lines are opened we will take further action. We expect you to take anything of such nature over PM.
Thanks

Hello, I have a problem with USB OTG on my OnePlus One, described in this thread, but since no one is answering, I was wondering if the question was already asked by someone, hence the reason for no replies, but after searching I didn't find anything. Did I post in the right section? Was the question already asked?
Thank you.

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist but I see that you have already asked the same question in the General forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/general/help-rooting-samsung-galaxy-note-3-t3190375. However, since there is an XDA area dedicated to the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 3 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-note-3 which would be a better starting place, I suggest you post your question with all relevant details in the friendly Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-note-3/help where the experts familiar with your device will be best able to guide you.
Good luck!
EDIT: Member has now posted in the suggested area. Thread closed.
