The purpose is I want to enlarge the internal memory for the phone. Im also searching for original Lenovo S660 firmware, just in case of my phone breaks and need to restored.

Recently Lenovo have launch the B6000 / B8000 device to the world, i hope that will be a separated forum for this device.
Beside that im not a developer, hence im looking help from anyone that able to port a working dialer to this Lenovo B8000 as the WW firmware doesn't comes with a dialer but the CN firmware have it. I have tried to flash the CN firmware & found there is no way to install GApps... :crying:

I'm new here and would like to ask assistance. I have a Starmobile Diamond D1 device and would like to root it, and if possible, flash Android KitKat ROM into the phone.
This may seem a lot but I assure you I understand the risks and take full responsibility for whatever consequence there will be on my phone, whether good or bad.
I am hoping someone in the Philippines can help me. I read a post here about a different Starmobile model but I'm not sure if the process and files needed are entirely the same for my phone.

I need your help as last night I was trying to help my friend with his new Lenovo S960 phone and an auto update changed the UI and the phone to Chinese verison with no Google access and it's basically useless now. Can you please give me ideas how to roll it back or simply install a different ROM / UI? I was trying to find a Cyanogen option, but couldn't find it. Actually a stock Android would be great - or anything what is not in Chinese AND allows us to add a Google account, reach the Play Store, etc.

I have A850+ Phone and I want to change my ROM since this current one is killing my battery. I tried any other ROM that I could found on the net nor needrom.com but none were better.
I thought if its possible to use A850 ROM on A850+ Phone.
Does anybody got good ROM for A850+ ?

Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. You generally shouldn't flash ROMs from other devices to your phone as it can brick it. The two devices are similar but not identical so I'd advise against it.
