Does anyone have a copy of the stock kernel for 38r. I've run into issues trying to use Franco kernel updater and using the backup copy of the kernel made in that app. Just want a clean version of the newest stock kernel. Thanks in advance.

Well, it seems to be 33R (it's what it says while flashing in recovery).
But it as the same version as show in this thread : [ ROM ][ Oct 7 ] Stock Rooted 4.4.4 XNPH38R
Weird.

Apologies if this sounds like a silly/obvious question to ask, though I'd just like some clarification.
I'm flashing back to Stock 4.4.2, and I'm wondering if everything ran correctly.
In the DOS window it says that it failed to open HHZ11K, and "M8974A, though just under it says that it is that version and 4.4.2 is KOT49H not HHZ11K, even though I downloaded KOT49H.
Within my phone it says the following:
Baseband M8974a-1.0.25.0.23
Build: KOT49H
Version: 4.4.2

Also wondering in the process of installing a new custom ROM should I:
- old rom
- wipe everything (data/system/cache/etc)
- reinstall stock 4.4.2
- install new custom rom
or
- old rom
- wipe everything (data/system/cache/etc)
- install new custom rom
HHZ11K is the bootloader version. Boot to bootloader and have a look

I've been using Franco kernel for awhile now but I just noticed that camera will not record video anymore. Not sure if this is caused by Franco kernel but another thread said reverting to stock kernel fixed the same issue. Where can I get a flashable zip for the stock kernel? I've looked around and cannot find it.
Franco r32 causes this, flash r31 until r33 is released.
If you want stock kernel, then download the rom and fastboot flash boot.img.
Hello guys, few months back i had installed the Android M preview and then to root the device i had installed a custom Kernel on my Google Nexus 5. Now i have upgraded to the stock MRA58N 6.0.0 ROM manually using the factory images by google. Now i want to know, how can i revert back to the stock kernel. And is flashing stock automatically reverts back to stock kernel? How will i root again on Android 6.0.0 please help
Flashing the factory images replaces the current kernel (if using the flash-all script). If you have flashed them one by one, did you flash the boot.img file?
To root MM builds, check SuperSU MM thread to flash a modified boot image then flash SuperSU or flash a custom kernel then SuperSU.
Does anyone have a download link to a flash-able beta 9 stock kernel? I installed Smurf Kernel and my battery is terrible now and I am trying to get back to the stock kernel without having to flash the Stock Beta 9 Image losing my current setup?
Thank You
Josh
Did you make a backup using TWRP before installing SmurfKernel?,... wouldn't flashing backup do it for you?
