How much space or memory does Nandroid backup takes? and where it stores internal memory or SDcard?
Hi,
It varies a lot from device to device. If you let me know your device I can point you towards help. ?
In my S duos 2 device ,, It takes about 1.1 Gb
Yup, that sounds entirely reasonable.
But you can ask for help here and maybe someone who owns the device can compare,

Good luck!

Any help is appriciated.
Hi,
There is no info on your device on XDA. You can try one if the generic methods at the top of this Root Directory, at your own risk of course...
http://www.xda-developers.com/root/
Or you can ask for help here,

Good luck!
Hello,
I had found a thread on XDA by a user whose name started with david. The thread was about his progress in installing Linux On Android onto his external sd-card by partitioning it. I am having difficulty in finding that thread. It was in the Android Development Section of some device which I cannot seem to remember. Please help me find it. Thank you
Hi,
This is all I could find,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Linux-on-Android_project_(incorporating_Ubuntu_installer)
If that's not it, I'm afraid you're looking for a needle in a 5million member haystack. ?
You could ask here though...

Its been a while since I posted here Last device was a Samsung Note 10.1
I have just ordered a phone for my wife - KINGELON N9800 5.7" IPS MTK6592 8-Core Android 4.2.2 Phone 13MP CAM 2GB RAM 16GB ROM
Afterwards I read about the spyware/malware which has sometimes been found on these phones.
As I am totally out of touch with rom etc now and will take a long time to read through all the forums I'd like to ask how best to ensure that there is no dodgy installed software or backdoors in the OS?
Is it possible to root the phone and add a new ROM, and if so would that guarantee there is nothing nasty left lurking in the device?
TIA
Hi,
I can find nothing relevant on XDA for your device. You will need to ask for help here,

Good luck!
Thanks for the reply, I'll post in the other forum.

Hi,
Can someone help me out by sharing tips/tricks to increase the internal memory available for apps on Xolo Q-800 X-edition?
The phone comes with 4GB internal memory with only 1GB available for Apps and games.
Is it possible to get something like it was done for Xolo 1010i?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I can not find anything relevant on XDA for your devices issue, so I would maybe ask in the thread you already linked.... Or here,

I had previously asked about how to root my phone, and had mentioned that there aren't any good "helps" available for it (Xolo Q1000S Plus).. So, after having rooted my phone, my question is, how can I merge my internal and phone storage? Is it possible? I have an inbuilt memory of 32 GB, but it feels quite useless because my internal memory is only 1 GB, and after installing a few apps, I can't install any more.. This is very annoying, as sometimes I can't even update the apps.. The app cache cleaner helps, but not all the time.. So please let me know if there's any way to merge the two memories..
Hi,
I don't think merging them is an option, but this might work for you to install apps to your eternal SD card…
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=919326
If that doesn't work out for you, you could ask for other ideas here,
