Hi there, I would like to ask if Samsung S3 mini is compatible with Samsung Gear. According to the official website for the Samsung Gea, it only supports up to 17 devices as listed below:
1. Samsung Galaxy S5
2. Galaxy Grand 2
3. Galaxy Note 3
4. Galaxy Note 3 Neo
5. Galaxy Note 2
6. Galaxy S4
7. Galaxy S3
8. Galaxy S4 Zoom
9. Galaxy S4 Active
10. Galaxy S4 mini
11. Galaxy Mega 6.3
12. Galaxy Mega 5.8
13. Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition)
14. Galaxy NotePRO (12.2)
15. Galaxy TabPRO (12.2/ 10.1 /8.4).
The question is, does it really limited to all these devices? and it is not depends on the Android version of the running device?
My phone, i8190 N-variant, is currently rooted, running on Cyanogen 11 Android version 4.4.4.
Can I do anything about it? I need to get a smartwatch that is able to use along and be programmed with my phone. I need it for my project purpose, to write an application that make use of a smartwatch as input data.
Thanks in advance for any replies.
Hi,
You have a dedicated forum for that device, so you must start ask/read there for more relevant answers:

Hi there,
First you must read carefully this threads and follow that links for every question: [REF]All Things About Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 P5!XX or/and Frequently Asked Questions - Galaxy Tab 2
Second, if you still have any problem and you must ask something, do it in the right thread here: The Galaxy Tab 2 Help Thread [Ask Any Question!] or open a new one in the same area.
List of ROM you can find in the right area here: Galaxy Tab 2 10.1" Android Development or on www.sammobile.com
Good luck

I guess it's a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N900).
Here is the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 > Galaxy Note 3 General > [INDEX][REPO] Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Android Dev ROM/Kernel][MEGA-UPDATE][26th August] thread with a list of all available ROMs for your device.
If you have the Exynos variant, you should check ROM for this variant only, e.g. from here: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 > Galaxy Note 3 Exynos Android Development.
For further question about your device, please ask in the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 > Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum ... to get quick and proper help :fingers-crossed:
Last night I flashed my Note 3 (SM-N900) with Cyanogenmod 12.1. I had Samsung Gear S2 but when I install the Gear Manager, it can't be opened, it says that my OS isn't support. Can I fix that ? or I need to rebuild or do something with my phone? I need some help to get my Samsung Gear S2 connected with my Note :crying::crying::crying:

Hi
Welcome to xda.
I found a thread related to your problem here > Samsung Gear 2 > Gear 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [Q] Gear 2 on Note 3 Lollipop not reconnecting .
See if you can find an answer in that thread otherwise post your question with as much description as possible.
