[Q] Dual sim phone for korea

Hi everyone.
Is there any dual sim phone in the market that will work in 3G network at the same time?
I am currently here in korea, where phone only works in 3G (UMTS 2100 I think) signal.
So if I have a dual sim, 3G should work on both sim at the same time.
Thanks a lot.

have you tried this phones on both 3G networks?
I read some articles regarding dual sim phone that even though it supports 3G on both sims they dont usually work at the same time, 1 in 2G and other in 3G.
Thanks.
Yes there are many types of phones came with 2 sim cards.
such as samsung & lg
but i heared about a piece that you can buy it seperatelly and insert it into the phone which make it possible to fit 2 sim cards at the same time

yah, i saw a lot of dual sim phones.. but the problem is, if it will both work at the same time in 3G networks.. since only 3G signal is supported here in korea..
I know this thread is old, but I have the exact problem right now. Dual Sim in korea, with one korean and one foreign sim card does not work!
Too bad...

[Q] How can I use HTC ONE SV Cricket with GSM network?

Hi all!
I want to use my One SV on GSM network because I live in Europe ( Hungary) and my former motherboard is dead, after I ordered another from ebay just I didn't look it just use CDMA networks!
I read HTC One SV has a SIM slot because it supports LTE. Most LTE phones also include 2G and 3G GSM radios active.
But I don't know how can I unlock the sim because I put in a T-mobile SIM, it say no sim card, and doesn't ask the unlock code!
Somebody can help me to unlock CDMA portion?

SIM cards support 4G?

Do both SIM cards support 4G?
Yes both 4g enabled sim cards will support 4g in J700F model.
Just not at the same time
If one Sim works In 4g the other will have a 2g connection. but this can b interchanged
Can I enable both sim 4g at the same time?
no
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy J7 using XDA Labs
No. One can be used in LTE another in 2G

S8+ Dual Sim, is it 4G sim1 and 3G sim2 and not 2G

Can anyone let me know if the S8+ Dual Sim is 4G/3G as Australia is turning off all 2G networks.
Thanks
It's 4G/3G/2G (SIM 1) + 4G/3G/2G (SIM 2).
TL;DR: LTE/LTE.
Pretty sure that SIM 2 is GSM only

Both SIMs are 3G and 4G, but you can use as 4G only one and the other one will be max 3G, or if you prefer can be 2G as well. This is not so relevant, since you switch the SIM cards for internet use (since you can not use both cards in the same time for data usage) it will change settings to 4G for the preferred SIM immediately.

Dual SIM 4G+3G or only 4G+2G ?

I'm contemplating a purchase for a Mate 9 with dual SIM capability ( from Kogan Australia). It's advertised with dual SIM. For me, the secondary SIM would only add value if I can use it on 3G, while I keep the main SIM on 4G.
But in some documentation, the secondary SIM only supports 2G. Has anyone successfully used Mate 9 with 4G+3G SIM combination.

For sure....! I also think 4G+4G can work...
If the Australian version is the same as the European version it will support 2G, 3G and 4G on SIM 1 whilst SIM 2 will support 2G and 3G.

3G would be great on SIM 2. The problem I'm trying to solve is that our Australian telco ( Optus ) has severely degraded its own mobile network, to the point where we can't receive voice calls anywhere in our suburb. LTE used to work well, not any more. On the other hand, they improved somewhat on their 3G network. My wife is still in contract with cheap plan. So I could arrange a dual-SIM where SIM 1 is on 4G with another telco, while SIM 2 stays at 3G with the old telco. Things may improve for their network, or the company is going down, we shall see.
4G/3G is how it does it.
Both will support 4G but you'll need to put the switcher setting on your homescreen so you can switch quickly - you can't have both on 4G but both will support it. The other will be able to use 3G.
