Slim External Portable Power Kit

Hi everyone,
I bought a portable power source several days ago via Internet, and to be honest, this power source is really nice.
This power kit, which owns a capability of 2200mAh, is packed by 'dopod' (a company that affiliated to hTC), and it can force your phone to using its power as priority when it is plugged in.
BTW, the output port is mini USB, that means this power source not only can be used as Diamond's backup battery, but also can be applied to any kind of devices that supports miniUSB charging. Cheers!
Lifetron LT-005
Bought 2 weeks ago this one:
Lifetron LT-005
http://www.lifetrons.ch/Products/Products-MultiplePowerSystem.htm
4800mAh 5V output and really small. 85mm x 25mm x 40mm
I used it to keep my PSP, my Diamond and my IPod alive on my last business trip.

where can you buy this?
edit: found it already. 129 USD, quite expensive!
I would rather buy this one: http://www.just-mobileonline.com/products_chargerseries_9.html, only 400 mAh less, and also small! (70mm x 52mm x 22mm)
Has anyone experience with it? Or does anyone know a better deal?
All look good but for sheer value and ease of use, I bought this from my local branch of maplins
£3 !!!!!!!
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=222899
Uses standard AA or rechareable AA's to power/ charge your diamond

Thats pretty damn cheap for maplin.
Think i'll go an pick up one of these on the way home!
I'm thinking of buying this one
I have the Proporta solution. http://www.proporta.com/F02/PPF02P05.php?t_id=4393&t_mode=des
...
And I found another Solar-Energy external power source....
solar charger
just got one of these and I will test it for a few days
http://usb.brando.com.hk/prod_detail.php?prod_id=00673
I just got a PowerPal (another AA battery device) as an emergency solution, should be handy for camping trips too.
I went into Jessops in York today (UK camera shop) and found they were doing Energizer Ultimate Lithium 4-packs for £3.91. If you believe their PDF datasheet, they have way more power than an alkaline battery under larger current draws.
How about this by Energizer...

Another one I am going to be investing in before CES this year is a Callpod FuelTank... 4300mAh battery plus the ability to charge 2 items at once....
http://www.callpod.com/products/fueltank
I've been using the callpod dragon (first and second gen) for sometime with great success... I love it.... no chargepod in my car, but thinking about it soon....
How about this one? Found it at expansys while looking for external battery solutions....

WTS/WTT HTC Touch Pro/Fuze

I want to trade or sell my unlocked AT&T branded (GSM, not CDMA) HTC Touch Pro, aka the HTC Fuze. The Touch Pro comes with all the original documentation and cables, a composite video/audio out, a charging station/cradle, a nice Waterfield suede case, the best screen protector you can get, a miniUSB to 3.5mm adapter for audio out and a 16GB microSDHC. It will come preloaded with the stock ROM or a nice cooked ROM. The phone was only used for two weeks and is in near mint condition, it has minor wear-and-tear scratches on the back but the screen itself has only made air contact for seconds while changing the screen protector. I'm looking for around $450 but I'd much rather trade.
I'm selling it since it the mp3 player functionality isn't as good as I had hoped, goodbye Sim City 2000 .
I'm really looking for a newer DSLR or a black 16GB 3g iPhone but I'll consider other good deals. Feel free to ask any questions.
Heatware under Roflcopter_Down
bump? I thought it was a decent deal. Feel free to offer
$525 is a bit too high, you would have a much better chance lowering the price.
Price dropped a considerable amount.
Last bump before it goes on the hell hole that is eBay
your best bet is ebay... you'll probably get 350-400 for it used im thinkin.
btw.. what the heck r u talking abt the mp3 player isn't good? it's as good as the software u install on it... *confused*
Well considering the cheapest I've seen a used Fuze go for is $400, the 16gb microSD is $50++, the video cable $30, the screen protector and case are another $30 and the adaptor is $10, $450 is a steal.
I have some stuff to trade:
HTC TYTN II (new as of December 31st 2GB SD) $250
1000W 2x 12" subwoofers with 580 W amp (over 1000W bridged) $175
Tripp Lite UPS. Smart 750 SL (pure sine wave output, 750W @ 25 minutes runtime, NEW! $125)
DXG MP4 video camera. Works A+ for youtube and with a full SD slot. $100 (barely used)
Shipping is going to be horrible but it happens. let me know at ubercomputers @ Gmail.com
i'm in indiana

Speakers and camera protrusion

I'm just about ready to buy a Nexus 5 but have 2 concerns I would like to first ask about.
1. I've read the speakers are terrible. That sounds strange for a phone! Is there a problem hearing conversation in a phone call? Is there a software fix that works?
2. The camera lens sticks out in the back. So I worry about putting it in a leather belt holder which might force the lens out of alignment. Is that a concern?
3. Google sells the Nexus 5 for $349 - 399. But amazon's price for the nexus 5 is much higher! Am I just confused or are they different phones?
Thanks

2. not a concern.
3. googles sells at the best price(they buy it for the best price). amazon wants to make some money. tmobile sells the 16gb version for $450.

Thank you. That is reassuring.
I thought that might be the case with the Google price but couldn't believe the difference in price.
For Number 2 i suggest getting a case.. otherwise the whole camera assembly comes off into 2 peices a top half and a bottom half the top half houses the camera glass itself as seen here.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-To...er_Cell_Phone_Accessories&hash=item1c3a22fdc2
so if you're comfortable taking your backcover off and a few screws to replace it go naked if you wish, if you're not use a case that protects the camera glass

Got this for $176, worth it?

hi there. I just won an auction of Asus Tf 101 (with the dock) about 199 NZD (163 USD) with the shipping fee, my total is 176 USD. do you think the price worth it? previously I have bought some crappy android tablets, and this is my first bought something from famous brand. I mainly will use this to read books, comics, maybe watching movies and playing games, but these are not really priority.
Do you think that price is justified? I'm currently living in new zealand, the electronic price here is ridiculously expensive, and the newest one is still priced 400-500+ USD. which is insane since this machine was released 3 years ago. I actually wanted to buy lenovo s6000, but unfortunately they don't sell it in new zealand, and the price is exceeding my budget.
since I probably will use this tablet for 3-4 years, my questions are:
1. is there any way I can replace the battery? (I never bought any hi-end tablet because most of their batteries are not easily replaceable)
2. is it still good for current gaming? not that I like tablet gaming though, but it would be nice if this tablet can play popular 3d games in android
3. for you who have used it for years, can it replace word processing in laptop? is it comfortable to edit documents in this tablet?
4. do I need to put screen protector or it's okay to leave as it is since it's use gorilla glass?

1. Yes, but you shouldn't need to since the battery life of the tablet is very good (especially with dock). You need a Torx screwdriver (I forget the exact size) to open up the tablet to get to the battery.
2. It's OK, but not very good for newer 3D games. But this is Android, not a PC. The best games aren't 3D.
3. No. Document writing sucks.
4. No need. Gorilla glass is great. But it is very glossy and is a grease/fingerprint magnet. If you want a protector, I'd get a matte one.
Enjoy your new toy. Flash KatKiss (4.3 or 4.4) on it and you should be happy for a while.

thanks for your reply, my tablet will come in few days. I'm so excited to try it.
also just wondering, is it recommended to dual boot ubuntu touch / android? I have seen some people do that, it looks amazing.
I bought mine when it was released and still using it. I also own an Iconia A100 (7")
I used the Iconia for bed reading with Kindle app but use the TF100 for web browsing and taking notes in meetings, it still runs great with 4.4 Kitkat ROM mentionned in an earlier post.
my tablet just arrived today. it looked fantastic, wow. I guess I will root and install a custom rom later.

Disappointed with Mod availability in the UK

Luckily I bought this phone on the basis it was best at the price range.
If I had bought it for the mods I would be really disappointed. There is literally none available other than the high end ones like the camera and the projector.
The style shells, wireless charging shells, incipio pack etc are near enough impossible to find, and Motorola themselves have pretty much nothing available on their site.
Amazon Spain has almost everything. Buy them from there.
