Android Market not working after gingerbread update

Any idea of what can be happening and how to solve it??

One word: ELABORATE

What do u mean bu that??? I'm new to Android, i have searched in Google but can't find an answer

explain in detail what the issue is, the new market is bugged and laggy. Best bet, downgrade to previous version. Also you might just have to log back in, using your Google account.

Elaborate on what don't work. That could mean a hundred things. Does it error? Does it not load? Does it not connect? Does it not download apps? I think you get what elaborate now means.

Sorry I didn't explain in detail before.
The problem I'm having is that after I updated my phone to gingerbread, I tryed using the market and I was receiving a message like Application Timeout or something like that(don't remember what the exact message was).
Before the update, the phone was using the version showed in the image below and it was working fine

Try that out.

Two things you can try. First go to your app drawer and hit the menu button and select "Remove app". Use the "All" tab and find "Market". Select "Market" and select "Force Stop" and then "Clear Data". Try the market again.
If that doesn't work then install the newest version that I have uploaded here. It is version 3.1.5.

After successful factory reset, needed as unable to connect to network, gingerbread installed with older version of market. Talked with HTC. Performed all of the suggestions but still no update. Inspire not rooted. Can I safely download the current market version that was in this post?

Yes you can. It will download and install fine.

Just a thought; I have found out that while trying different sense-based roms, that I had to have the "Google Talk" app installed in order to access the market. (Some roms don't have the apk/app installed. The error message I received was "network timeout".
This is not the case with every rom, however It seems to be my common problem when I get that error message.

Installation (install clockwrokmod first)
1. Copy MySs rom on the card (not extract)
2. Choose wipe data / reset and wipe the cache partition- select Yes (do not skip this step)
3. Select Install from sdcard zip. Choose Select zip from sdcard
4. Choose rom MySs-Select Yes
5. Wait finished, press Back to return to the main menu.
6. Choose wipe data / reset and wipe the cache partition- select Yes (do not skip this step)
7. Reboot system now. Done
restart phone again after get into main screen

What doo you mean you deleted it... dont you need it if you have a sim card and want to call and text???

Nope. Call and text works fine without it. I wouldn't mind not having it, as I never use it. And not having it stops me from compulsively checking my balance lol.

I had to add the V10 as a device, but its for the V20.
This is the same stock TOT that was uploaded before by @meraz9000. I just extracted the files for those who were having issues like me. I hope this helps someone get root and other things working.

I was just using these for the system.img personally. I didnt know if these would help anyone else wanting to make something or help with root.
Im a themer, im not looking to make a whole rom myself. way too much work, did that before and dont have time to do it again.
yes, do not flash anything here...these files are only for those that know what to do with them

Flashable or not, it's good to have a place to turn for convenient, clean copies of files (like /system/bin/applypatch) that may or may not have been overwritten sans backup by silly users like myself. Thanks!

dirtycow by itself does not replace files on the mmc! those files are entirely original still, they're only replaced in your active memory.
you can simply reboot and everything will be back to normal.
that being said, I did find a way to actually write to recovery partitions with dirtycow...

So how do we test?

Never mind, my mistake, first boot time takes a very long time (10 minutes) so I thought it was a bootloop.

Yes, it is necessary to flash in the super section. A little later I will give another link, I have changed the firmware. But the backup data from this firmware, for some reason does not want to load.But it's even more convenient, it takes up less space.One backup for two firmware.

This firmware is based on a different version.I corrected and replaced something. There are new functions, such as RAM expansion, although it does not work for us, it seems that support is needed in the kernel.DTS has also appeared, it works
