My device name is samsung galaxy trend duos , s7392. Its a dual sim phone. I have searched a lot , but there is no custom rom for this device. So, I decided to try some custom roms. So, I have searched Cyanogenmod , and found there , there is a custom rom for Galaxy grand duos. Mine is a duos phone, but its ram is only 512 MB. But, Grand has 1 GB ram. If I try to install that rom, will it make any harm to my device, or how the rom will perform ?

If you want to try flashing ROMs for other devices to yours it would be advised to make a Nandroid backup incase it all goes wrong, other than that it should be made clear that ROMs for other phones are unlikely to work but you never know until you try

I just Bought a Galaxy ACE DUOS GT S 6802.Earlier I was using Galaxy Y GT S5360 which I have rooted & Installed so many custom roms in it. Now, I need help for the ACE Duos GT 6802. I want to root it and flash Custom roms for it. But I am surprised to search entire XDA-Forums that There are very few pages for GT S6802. Custom Roms are not available in compare to Galaxy Y my earlier phone. Even I could not find my instrument on the choose your instrument tab. Please help me regarding this. Here I am talking about Indian version of the phone.

that looks like visual effects on stock rom. i was looking for a rom that fix problems like batery life, restart option on power buton, less lag, increased speed boot and sd speed, etc. i had that on sgs2 but i lost the phone

I go to your post & have downloaded all the files. But there is no tutorial how to do it. I have my Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos GT S 6802 rooted.
Earlier I have hard briked the phone & have replaced the piece from Samsung Care So, this time I want to cautious to do anything with it. Can you provide step by step guide and link for the custom rom. Your post contain the stock firmware package. One more thing the ODIN v1.85.exe file is not working.

Has someone tried any custom ROM on Galaxy Trend Plus (GT-S7580)? I know that there is no custom ROM for this phone but I mean if anyone has tried custom ROM not designed for this phone. And if yes, then if it worked.

I won't take the risk, for sure ) but anyway the names in the build is so unique that I can't find a similar rom to test on the phone...
Since galaxy core 2 users dont have official CWM and TWRP I was hoping if we could use CWM from Galaxy core i8260 such as its custom roms too . I wish somebody could help me I really want to fullt customize my phone. My phone is rooted btw.

Hello! I ve a Samsung Galaxy Duos GT-S6802..
But it dont have latest update from samsung due to the second sim present........
but the single sim variant Galaxy Ace 5830 which even has only 290mb of ram can be updated to Kitkat 4.4....
So my question is that whether i can Install SGA 5830's Firmware in my DuoS may be the Second Sim dont Work but I want to Do that....!!!
will it make my phone Unusable or hard bricked....
can i will be able to reflash my original Firmware ..
