Hello, i own a French Sony Xperia Z2, i try to root my phone since some time but without success... Between sdk, adt, adb drivers etc i'm just a little bit lost. I try a lot of method but without success. I have buy my phone this year and my build number is different, i would like find an easy root method. My question is: With my French Z2 i can root my phone without unlock the bootloader or not ? Thx for help me, best regards !!

Hi, thx for ur advices, i know this method (Doomlord), don't work on my device coz my build is different (one of the first number build on the market). And to be honest that's a mess to instal all drivers i'm lost
I have try a lot of method and i have always the same prob and i can not go further... I would try an easy method without unlock my bootloader but i think it's just impossible !!
I follow different method step by step and i'm always very careful but honestly that's not easy to instal the good drivers adb sdk etc..., try to root or unlock the botloader

I am trying too root my sony xperia z2, using the EasyRootTool,
i have followed all of the steps and it does not seem to work,
i have also took advice given too other people in the post and nothing is still happening,
it is just stuck at the first step where it tell you to connect your device,

Hello people,
I have tried rooting my phone but I failed, then I rooted it with UnlockRoot Pro. After few days, I tried to customize my phone by flashing kernel and custom ROM's.
I tried official Sony method and other flashtool but either it does not recognize my phone or it says that my phone cannot be officially unlock bootloader. (NOTE: when I tried *#*#7378423#*#*, my phone said Bootloader unlock allowed: Yes)
So, I decided not to flash kernel :crying:
Then, I tried to flash custom ROM's but again nothing seems to work on my phone.
Is it possible that UnlockRoot Pro software did something wrong while rooting?
I had 11.0.A.6.5 then new update came and the customer care people updated my phone to 11.0.A6.8.
I even tried to flash stock ROM, but that is also not working.
I have tried so many tools that I cannot post all the screenshots of their problems.
Please help me; you people are my last hope. Guide me please.

This thread has info that I think can help. Pay attention to the beginning of post number one. It says you either unlock your bootloader at Sony site, or root with a locked bootloader... And there's a link to the guide to Root while locked.

Hello, Iaccidentally installed bad cwm recovery, and now my phone dont want to start. When i try enter recovery mode, it show up maybe for 0,5sec (but its all pink and strange). Please, is there any option how to solve this problem ? How to completly reinstal phone to stock state ?
