Hello,
I am new to android development and i have been following this guide(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2399426) to making my first icon pack. However, i was wondering if someone could guide me how to make a UI for my icon pack. I want people to be able to open my icon app, then apply it directly from the app. Also id like for them to be able to suggest apps which they want me to icons for. All help is greatly appreciated!

Hi
I wanted to ask of something, i couldn't find it proper category here in XDA. I apologize for putting it under "general" category.
I use Dodol launcher and have installed some icon packs. The problem is that these icon packs contains 1000+ icons of those apps which i don't use and will never install. I know they are made for everyone so that it fits to everyone. I wanted to ask of some way that i be able to edit these icon packs and delete the unnecessary icons from these packs (icon packs are in .apk format) and keep those only which i need. This will reduce the load and also one major problem. When i am finding some icon for an app, i have to scroll so much and it takes time, and also icon loads with some few seconds gap. This becomes a painful process.
In Short, i am asking for helping me to edit these icon packs so that i can reduce them to those icons only which i need and delete the others which i don't need. Is there any way to do it in Android or even in PC.
I will be very thankful to you for helping me.
Awais.
So I've always been interested in different icon packs on here and in the app store. But after all my research I have not been able to find an IOS7 icon pack. I can find image files but nothing I can install on CM11. Can someone point me towards one with the proper icons found in IOS if it exists? :good:
Dear all awesome techies here,
I was wondering if I could get certain elements of a theme instead of the whole thing. I mean, without modding/rooting/being a techie myself.
Basically what I'm trying to do is to change my keyboard, phone log and phone buttons to black background/white text.
There are many themes that have that which I've used before, but I'm in love with the new icons that came with the Galaxy S8+ so I don't want to use the whole thing.
Samsung theme store icon hack - Use icon only from any theme
Samsung theme added a new option in nougat for note 5 and other devices to change only icons. The problem is that icon library is quite limited. Although some themes have great icons but do let you apply icons alone (not so thoughtful of Samsung).
This method here let you use any samsung theme icon without applying that theme, Follow the complete guide here on XDA

Unfortunately icon packs can't be applied on a Samsung launcher. You can try theme galaxy app or some of the samsung themes (from envy and others) or download and apply icons within the samsung themes app.
Sorry but without changing launcher u cnt chnge icons.. many themes are availble in xda which have great icons
with Theme Galaxy you can create themes with the icon pack you want... i think is the only solution available without root or another launcher
