Hi Everybody !!!!
When I charge the phone while its off (not only the screen), the battery icon is not showing anymore but just the One Plus logo on. Some days ago I didn't have that problem. Any idea how to fix it?
Please help.
Thanks so much

Hi, I got a HTC 7 Pro which has been working fine for the last 4+ weeks.
Suddenly for some reason the battery level indicator on the phone is now showing a Question Mark - its was working OK until today. When I plug in the phone, I can see Zune start on the laptop and can sync up, etc. Also when plugged in the LED rapidly changes from Green to Amber.
The battery status still shows a question mark when plugged in or not. I have tried rebooting the phone, and removed the battery (for a few mins) but nothing fixed it.
I don't know if the phone is charging or not.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

I would say not. Sounds like the OS is having a problem identifying your battery. If you had another battery you could test to see if it was the battery or the phone.
Hi Scott,
Thanks for the reply. That would seem odd as the OS did not have any issue for the last 4 odd weeks - why would it suddenly have this?
I don't have another battery but will ask around.
Regards.
I got an update for everyone else - the phone is dead despite being plugged in all night. So clearly the battery is kaput. Will get in touch with HTC to get a replacement.
Also, I have a HTC Wildfire and as it happens, it has the same battery (thank you HTC for that excellent design decision). I was able to put that and test the HTC 7 Pro and it works just fine. The conclusion being, it has nothing to do with the OS, but the battery is dead.
Thanks.
I understand this to be a charging problem. The light going from red to green happens when it isnt being charged properly. Happened to me when I had it connected to a crappy car charger.
Hi everyone,
I own a optimus g pro (Korean variant)
about 1 month ago, the device just suddenly got so hot, so i took the battery out. placed it back in, no reaction. I brought it back home and tried charging it. it kept on saying "need to charge more in order to boot". So i did, but unfortunately, i wasn't able to make it boot. It just died.
I thought this was a battery problem, so i bought a new battery, which just arrived today. I placed the battery, the phone didnt boot. charged it, it flashed the message again. I waited, and finally got it to boot. but something wasn't right; the phone was too hot. and it charged tooo slowly.
after observing it for a while, i noticed that even if i stop charging the phone (with battery life of about 9% which i waited for so long to reach) and put it in the phone and press the power button, it wont boot. then when i charge it, it tells me again that I need to charge it more in order to make it boot. so the battery is somewhat discharged immediately, and this annoys me very much. I have no warranty, so i cannot change it or ask for a replacement unit.
Could anyone enlighten me with this issue? I'm planning to disassemble it (as it is of no use anymore) but it would be nice if i could stop this immediate discharge and fix it myself. has anyone encountered this issue on any phone? please help. i need every opinions..
Thank you, cheers to everyone!
Hello to all, as in the photo that I enclose, since replaced the display on my nexus 5, the indicator of the battery charge remains always at 0% ... if the detachment from the current, continues to run regularly for a few hours.
I also tried replacing the battery with an original but to no avail. If i turn off the phone there is no way to turn it back on if you disconnect the battery, attacking power, get it going in the bootloader, reattach the battery and then start ... crazy stuff. What do you think?
Sorry my english and thnks for helps!
Hello,
I am having the same problem after having replaced the battery... Did you find any solution? Thank you
Same problem here. I revived the phone after a water drop but now have exactly this problem. All good except for this. I replaced the battery but still the same.
The phone can use normally, just don't know how much battery left because always shows 0%.
And if turn off need to open it, disconect the battery, connect the charge, turn on and when google appear connect the battery back. Kinda weird but is how it works now.
Any way to solve this?
The same problem
It happened to me and I am looking for a new battery in Egypt
I have the same problem.
Even with a new OEM battery this happen.
Any news about a solution?
