Hello All,
My uncle has recently came back from china and brought a Hasee E50 S1.
He tried to install Google Play 4.9.13 using an APK file, but anytime I run the play store I get the following error message:
"Unfortunately, Google Play Store has stopped."
I've googled a lot, no concrete information about the specific device, but many suggestions generally that didn't solve my problem.
At first I deleted the app data and cache, which seem to work until I've tried to download an application from the store and the same error came back. following attempts of this method didn't event get me back to try and download an application.
I tried to install a different version (4.5.10), download APKs of Google Play Services (3.1.36 and 4.4.48) and delete app data and cache again.
I've read that making Play Store a system app might help, but the device is unrooted, and I do not know how to root it.
I have experience in rooting Samsung devices, and maybe an HTC or two, but I didn't find a guide for generic rooting who seemed "safe" enough to try, especially because I didn't find any "unbrick" guide for this device (and no one will probably ever create such a guide...)
I've switched to a different Google account, and too - no change.
More information about the device:
Model number: Hasee E50 S1
Android version: 4.2.2
Baseband Version: MOLY.WR8.W1315.MD.WG.MP.V11.P7, 2013/12/12 21:57
Kernel version: 3.4.5 Thu Feb 27 16:07:13 CST 2014
Build number: Hasee_E50_S1_V1.3
Any help would be appreciated....
Thanks to all those who bothered to read this post,
wipkiko
Hi,
There may be a way to root but you will more than likely need more thank just the playstore apk to get it working
Being there is no device specific info for you that I can find either try asking in the general q&a forum found here

So I bought 2 x All Winner A13's cheap off ebay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400337692134?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649) so I could talk to my kids when Im away working using Google's "Talk" app. Turns out when the tablets arrived, the App wasn't installed. I cant find an APK file that works and Ive even tried instal GAPPs for 4.0.x with no luck.
My tablets are reporting themselves as:
Model Number: SoftwinerEVB
Android Version: 4.0.4
Baseband Version: 1.5
Kernel Version: 3.0.8+ [email protected] #80 Wed Nov 7 15:50:24 CST 2012
Build Number: nuclear_evb-eng 4.0.4 IMM76D 20121108
Please can you all tell me how I can find and install the "Talk" app which is installed on pretty much every main stream Android device out there but for some reason not on my A13's.
Thanks all and have a great Christmas everyone!

Ahh sounds good I'll PM you now..
If anyone has bought an A13 and cant install from the Play Store go into Settings -> Applications and go into every Google App and delete its cache. Reboot and you should be ok.

I have to same tablet and would really appreciate if someone could share with me any Google talk app/ Google + that would work.

Hi! So I'm using a Samsung galaxy a3 running android 5.0.2 non rooted. I was trying to install the apps MIUI music anf Amazon underground. Whenever I tried to install Amazon underground, I got the message "app not installed" with only the option *done" after about 5 seconds, and the same with MIUI music. So I uninstalled a few apps that I thought may be using the problem, and I was able to install Amazon, and reinstall them after. But when it came to MIUI music, it still wouldn't work. I've heard of a problem on lollipop not allowing 2 apps with the same permissions to exist on your device, so could this be it? I do have other music apps such as Spotify, deezer(both patched versions) and TinyTunes. I would greatly appreciate any help here.

As already pointed out in response to your previous posts in the XDA Assist area, the best approach is for you to ask your question with all relevant details in the Samsung Galaxy Alpha Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-alpha/help. That's a good place to start where members familiar with your device might be able to advise you. XDA Assist cannot provide direct technical support, and other members cannot reply to your post on here, sorry. Please be patient and give the experts in the Q&A thread plenty of time to respond.
Good luck!
Hi,
I recently purchased a Huawei GX1S and overall found it a good phone except for one thing: the ROM. It uses a Huawei customized ROM which I personally find horrible as it doesn't have any of the regular apps like Play Store or Chrome. It uses Huawei update servers, EMUI, as its system update download server so therefore I can't get any of the Google official updates.
I've Googled up several times to try and find the original Google custom ROM and haven't found anything related to it. The best I could find were 2 tutorial sites that had survey locked download links which I honestly don't trust and wouldn't waste my time on. There seems to be no information at all for this product. Are there any available custom ROMs out there that I can use with this device?
Thanks

Hello there,
So, I randomly bought 2 smartphones in China for developing apps (not a very good idea).
The phones are:
- Asus Pegasus X002: comes with a Asus ROM. (Android 4.4.4)
- Vivo Y51: comes with Funtouch OS based on Android (Android 5.0.2)
What I need now is to get Google Play and Google Services working on both this phones.
For what I've been searching I think I have 2 options:
- Install another ROM (I didn't find any so far...)
- Manually install Google Play and Google Services (which I already tried and keep getting "Unfortunately, Google Services has stopped").
Also, I've been able to get root access to the Asus model, so I have more freedom.
Can anyone help me to get Google Play and Google Services on both this phones? I didn't found any helpful information for doing this on these specific models. I've been basically checking guides how to do this for other models and trying to do it on my phones. And so far, I didn't get any success...
Any help would be great!
Thanks,
João

I have an Android Car Device in my Suzuki S-Cross SX4.
In the first 6-7 months I had it the YouTube App worked properly with no issues.
Since some time back (maybe it was an automatic update to the app and I didn't notice) I get a black screen with colorful sparkling dots when trying to play view and the sound IS playing properly.
What I've tried so far:
1. Delete the app and reinstall.
2. Clear Cache / Delete app data.
3. Force stop and then start it again.
4. Reboot the device (with mixing 1-3 steps again and again).
Nothing seems to help!
When I try to run YouTube with the Chrome app I get video output with no issues at all but of course I rather use the App itself than Chrome.
I get the network connection from using HotSpot from my LG phone.
The device is not some known company is a custom Rom that I didn't find on the internet from a company called "Road Rover".
Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?
When I try to attach images for better understanding and more info about the device from settings I get this message:
"To prevent spam on the XDA forums, ALL new users prevented from posting outside links in their messages. After approximately 10 posts, you will be able to post outside links. Thank you for understanding!"
Since I can't share the info of the device from Setting I'll type it here:
