Just ordered one of these cases in dodger blue. Anyone else thinking about one of these. They look nice.

i ordered mine 5 days ago, when they were giving away a free screen protector with any other galaxy s4 purchase
i bought the black one... im still wondering if there is any thickness or weight statistics for this case. i really want to know how "slim" this armor is lol

I also got the free screen protector I believe that special expired yesterday 4/22. Not sure how slim it is but It looks like it could take a beating that's for sure.

Whilst Spigen are not now promoting a free screen protector, if you look at the included items with the case, it now states "Front Cover Screen Protector 1PC", so I guess the free screen protector is still included! You have to love marketing departments.....

Before you would have 2 screen protectors in the end. The included one and the extra one (I hope).
You could order screen protectors even and choose a free screen protector too.

Up to the 22nd April, the website did not specify that a screen protector was included other than the promotional tick box. The site has now changed with a screen protector listed as included.

I ordered the Neo Hybrid yesterday and it definitely said "Front Cover Screen Protector - 1 PC" as it does now.
I also see they now have 50% off a screen protector when you buy a case.
In addition it seems the price on the Neo Hybrid was raised by $1.

That 50% discount has only recently been added!
Also, a cached copy from Google is attached showing no screen protector listed other than the free one. Hope you do receive the two

It's the same on the Neo Hybrid. I ordered before the 22nd, so I better get two screen protectors or I'm going to be pissed.

Just make sure its not fake. A lot of them on ebay are fake.

I hope not.
One reassuring piece of info that may be relative is that they wont ship until may 1st. Possibly waiting for inventory?

Cant wait for mine to come. Looks great buy I must say the otterbox commuter looks pretty good too. I also got the glas.tr so it will be my first glass screen protector.

Same problem here. Get the s4 sat and slim armor may 10. Talked to my Sprint retail store guy and he said to come see him friday before all hell breaks lose on sat and he'll make sure I get an sview case. Retail expects to sell out of the first shipment quickly. Sview cases and phones.

There are some cheap TPUs on eBay that you can order for the meantime. I boughten one for $4 earlier today and it's supposed to arrive on Saturday which is perfect.

just got a response earlier about a question i asked a few days ago... WEIGHT AND DIMENSIONS!
this is what they had to say!

The slim armor will add on about 2mm on each side for the length and about 1.5mm on each side for the width. The case itself will add about 3-4 ounces of weight to your phone.
These are all approximations since we do not have the actual case available as of yet. "
so 3mm added to the thickness approximately, and 85-113 grams on top of the gs4's 7.9mm thickness and 130 grams.
not bad, for a slim case with the best protection! hope i like it, who knows lol

i think the best looking case yet is the iSkin EXO

i ordered mine to get the extra additional screen protector. spigen also sent me out an LCD cleaning kit for free. on top of that, the fake ones are probably jacked up in price just because those are just coming out too. the phone isnt even released yet.
also if you go to spigens ebay store,

you'd see that the prices arent different.
also note that spigen has a 90-day manufacturer warranty and a 30 day return policy. under these policies, cases purchased on spigens website are the ONLY spigen cases covered.

glass screen protector for Note 8?

I am using one with Note 2 (but Clarivue falls apart pretty quick).
Hopefully MIME can make one for Note 8. Since the screen is flushed flat, it should not have edge problem like Note 2.

I want one, too. Spigen posted on Amazon that they will not be making the GLAS for the Note 8.0.

Just reached out to XGear to inquire if there were any plans to offer a product like the Spectre for the SGS3 for the Note 8.0. Best dang screen protector I have ever used. Saved my SGS3 twice. Pricey, yes...but cheaper than replacement costs.
Will report back when I hear.

Just heard from XGear. They said they have no present plans to manufacture a Spectre for the Note 8. But will keep in touch. Dang.

a bit over a week ago I contacted Spigen who told me they will not be making a tempered glass screen protector for the N8.

Tempered glass
its difficult to find tempered glass for note 8. I find the product through aliexpress, but i don't know regarding the quality and whether they will work with the S-Pen or not. They will send it worldwide from Hongkong or China. The thickness itself vary from 0.4mm up to 0.6mm.
Anybody use it? Please review. Thanks.

yea I noticed that too. I figured a case at like $1.49 wasn't a bad deal. might not be worth $14.99, but $1.49 maybe.

Apurva.giri - I to have the Zagg protector on now and I hate it! I've already have gone through 2 of them in the couple of weeks ive had the phone. the damn protector keeps peeling up on the curved part of the screen, no matter how well the Zagg protector has been applied. Hopefully the ArmorSuit works better!

I dont think its active any longer. Someone else try?

Guys I have the skinomi and it has been great. No peeling whatsoever. Hoping it stays like that. I have had it for a week.

Aliexpress cases are.... Fake

Ordered what I thought was a Samsung alcantera case. It's clearly a crap fake in a poor Samsung box. Buttons barely exist so it's difficult to turn on and use volume controls. As usual Chinese copies.

If you're getting a curved edge device like the Note9 the only option is WhiteStone Dome.
When you think of tempered glass screen protector, think of WhiteStone dome.

Actually whitestone is not available in India and ordering via amazon.come mean it will cost about 60$ including shipping charges with a wait time of 15-30 days.

I ordered two cases and two tempered glass off AliExpress. I will let you know how things pan out.

It was clearly marked as 100% OE Samsung but the buttons were non existent and the box said made in Vietnam and the case had made in China! And it was fluffier than my note 8 alcantera case.
