★ Xperia Z Jelly Bean v3 v4 ★
Ported by CedArctic & Akateha (Team Pear Crew)​​
The Ultimate Xperia Z Experience ported to our device. Today we brake the bridge between Xperias and the Desires/Inspires. The ROM is ported from the Xperia Arc S forums. The original ROM was created by rikadrahman. You can find the original thread here. The ROM is fully functional, I have been using it as my daily ROM for nearly 9 hours (LOL! ) . Anyways everything is working including the WiFi. The ROM when ported lacked all the features and the existent ones were misfunctioning. So the ROM was re-engineered with the features existent plus more (e.g Sociallife), also added some more Xperia-ish touches like the Xperia Z lockscreen etc. The ROM is fully fledged with all the latest Xperia features... Enjoy! ​
Version 4 is officially released with major bugs and performance improvements. All issues must be solved. The download music info bug requiers manual work (take a look at the bug section). To fix the chinese keyboard you must download an alternative keyboard (give feedback on that). Also the lockscreen issue has been solved, just flash the zip in the downloads section.And finally the google setup bug has been solved, just download and flash the new google apps when you reflash the new ROM. Enjoy!

How to install:​
For S-OFF:
1. Boot to Recovery
2. Factory Data reset
3. Wipe Dalvik
4. Format System
5. Install ROM Zip from Sdcard
6. Install Google Apps
7. [IF ROOT NOT WORKING] Install UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.34.zip for root access (see downloads).
For Unlocked Bootloaders:
1. Boot to Recovery
2. Factory Data reset
3. Wipe Dalvik
4. Format System
5. Install ROM Zip from Sdcard
6. Install Google Apps
7. Flash kernel (inside zip "boot.img") via fastboot.
8. [IF ROOT NOT WORKING] Install UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.34.zip for root access (see downloads).
Update to new version:
1. Download the new zip, the lockscreen fix, new google apps and inspiremod (if you have an Inspire 4G).
2. Clear cache
3. Format system
4. Install zips from sd card (rom, google apps, lockscreen fix and inspiremod).
5. Reboot
6. Get a root explorer and navigate to system->app, mount r/w and long press SemcMetaDataCleanup.apk and delete it.
7. Reboot & Enjoy the Xperia Z feel :highfive: .

It is a CM ROM + Xperia Features. Take a look at the Desire HD forums too, the discussion there is more active and helps solving issues like the SystemUI. IDK about the specific one... take a look at the Desire HD thread

Do u have any updates? I flashed this a month ago. This Rom is awesome! A Lil bit of batt drain right now as my inspire is adjusting to it. Any info on updates would be cool. Although when I reboot, I get "music download has stopped. Sorry. "

-obviously, please get it from the 1st post
Prepare for flashing:
Backup all your contents, contacts, messages, notes, recording, etc
Drink a glass of water and no matter what happen, never ever ever freak out
Flashing FIRMWARE_SW12_XOLOA700_ROHANTANEJA ROM
Power Of Your XOLO A700, until it vibrate.
Enter CWM Recovery mode by pressing Volume Up + Power key for 3 seconds or until you see XOLO logo.
Wipe Full Device, that means Data/Cache/Dalvik
Now, Scroll Down To Choose zip from SDcard, press power key
Again Press power key on install zip from sdcard.

Installation
STEP 1 : Download the ROM files "Part 1" and "Part2".
STEP 2 : Place the Downloaded ROM files above in your SD Card and not in any folder.
STEP 3 : Now go to CWM.
STEP 4 : Clear Data/Factory Reset, Clear Cache and Clear Dalvik Cache.
STEP 5 : Now select zip from SDCard and select "Part 1". Wait till it completes and after this is flashed reboot your device.
STEP 6 : When your device starts and you get the Initial Boot Setup i.e. that language and network etc. After it is complete and you get on your Home Screen, Switch off your device there only and boot into CWM again.
STEP 7 : Boot into CWM, and without doing anything just flash the "Part 2" and reboot your device.
STEP 8 : DONE! Your A110Q has Lollipop Xperia ROM and also the latest 16.0.B.2.16.

It might give u problem like systemui stopped! .. I will recommend you to reflash rom part1 , reboot, then part2. instead of hard reset.

Rom s awesum bro.. Best jellybean rom around here for me.. U jus turned jellybean into something new. Bt i face 1 problem, wenever i screen mirror my device to tv. It jus plays video and audio is coming from mobile only.. Bt in other roms i get video along wid audio. Any workaround bro??

Your ROM is good but it would be more better if you would have added the stock jelly bean file manager, gestures, schedule power off and on, music app, stock camera features like multi angle picture and you should not have put the xposed framework in settings app.
Otherwise its good.

I don't think it is a 12mp camera because the resolution says it's an 8mp you just rewrite the string value to 12mp that's a nice trick. everything else is good and smooth too but one more issue I found is that some of the games were previously run on XLD ROM are now not working in this ROM hope so you can help GPU related optimization and also the camera.

The reason for beign CM based and not stock based is because we have not being able to port the Xperia functions the ROM includes to stock firmware. However stability is decent.

Bugs:
It is very important to take this into account:
Only use 3x3 pattern.
When battery saver is on it get a little laggy. Solution: reboot.
To take into account:
To use Xperia cameras, go to widgets and place "Cameras" widget, then you can open all cameras.
You can change lockscreen clock by pressing it for a while.
To activate lockscreen particle effect you must use the Xperia live wallpaper.
CM themes are still working. You can look for xperia adapted ones.
Small apps are in the recent apps screen.
How to use Xperia Camera:
To use Xperia Camera open it from lockscreen shorcut. Please remember it is a beta feature.
Default mode is SA (Superior Auto). Once you go to other mode and then try to get back to SA camera crashes.
To take front/back photos or record video use SA (SA settings doesn't work).
To take only back photos, with your own setttings, use Manual mode.
Please do not bother reporting Xperia Camera issues. We know them but it works and is great!
Installation:
1- Download and place in sdcard the ROM.
2- Go to recovery. Recomended: TWRP 2.8.7.0.
3- Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik cache.
4- Install the ROM.
5- Install GApps.
6- Reboot.
7- Enjoy!​

Very nice rom. Great battery life! The only thing i can find wrong besides what is already mentioned is that i cant turn off location unless i manually go settings. Other that that, this is Very well built!

hello, what gapps do you use? i flashed opengapps and i cant install anything from the play store

Due to lack of time, I can not continue giving support for this project indefinitely. There are a lot of "real life" work to do so... sadly I must quit this hobby.
