While using ICS Sense ROMs I have extreme battery drain when 3G is on. Battery level is like new year countdown. All syncs are off. There is no app that can cause this cuz I have a few apps installed. When 3G is off battery life is very nice. What do you think?

If you continue to get battery drain you can purchase a long lasting battery. I was getting huge drain and finally I broke down and bought a mugen 3500 mah battery. Now I can run for almost 3 hours at 100%! It lasts all day and into the late night without charge and I'm still conditioning it! Just received my battery 4 days ago! It's been absolutely amazing! What a huge difference it makes! It's a give and take though because it is required to change the back of the phone to fit the battery it comes with the battery. It's not so bad and back fits perfectly it just makes the phone thicker . But it gives supreme battery life so I'll take a thicker phone any day for the battery life I get out of this battery! If your tired of the battery drain I suggest and highly recommend getting a mugen 3500mah battery. It's expensive but I'm telling you it's so worth every penny! I have tried Anker and mugen 1900 and neither had delivered the kind of battery life I have now with my 3500mah battery! I wish I got this from the beginning! It really works! Finally I got a solution for my battery! If your serious about battery life purchase this battery. However don't get it off eBay or other site it could be counterfeit, go to mugen site and purchase from there. It takes about two weeks and arrives registered mail. Follow the instructions that come with the battery and you will be set! I just wanted to bring this option to your attention because it made such a extreme difference for me and my battery life I'm very pleased with it. So its something to consider if you continue to struggle with battery issues . It solved my battery problems. You might want to consider it. I hope this helped in some way and I wish you the best! Just know you do have a option. I cannot stress enough what a huge difference it had made for me and my device! I highly recommend it!

My battery life has never been great on the G3. I'll chalk it up to the screen. My G2 was amazing and most of the phones I had after that were better than what the G3 is now. I'd say I got comparable life out of my M8 which is not saying much at all. S5 killed this thing on battery life. But overall I like the G3 better. Just means I have to charge my phone at work which isn't a huge deal

Yup, me too. Maybe battery life improves within the week.
