Croma is a an app to create and share palettes, built with simplicity in mind. Its design is inspired my Google's material design.
It allows you to create palettes in three ways:
• by manually adding colours
• by extracting colours from an image
• by automatically creating palettes (complementary, split-complementary, analogous etc.) from a selected colour.
The app also allows you to save and share palettes with ease and extract colours form an image from your favourite image viewer. You can choose between plenty of ways to share your palette. Opening shared palettes with Croma is as easy as a single tap on the palette link you've received.

Cool app! This would come in handy next year when it's time to paint.
If you would like, I can translate the app into Spanish... just post the strings.xml file here.
Security
Hi, I decided sometime ago to test how hackeable apps I found here on XDA are, and, with Freedom or Lucky Patcher I can get the pro version of your app, so, you may want to check your security.
(also: what the pro versions does? After checking, I couldn't find a difference)

Hi, thanks for your report! The pro version allows to add more than 4 colors in a palette (and so to extract < 4 colors from images).

More than 4? I used to use color grab (it gets colors from the camera, but one by one, and it's really ugly), your app looks good, and gets more from the camera, the donate version is worth it, keep up with the good work
Hi, as a themer this could be a very useful tool. But when I try your app on a screenshot of my theme I notice the hexcolors are not equal with the one's I used..

what i heard from the developer is that the tool will enable you to create the livewallpaper from scratch. it will able enable you to create your own widget like clock, calendar, battery etc which "live" inside the livewallpaper.
the date to public as what i heard is end of the month.

Any time you try to choose anything public, to create your own live wallpaper, the placeholders for the objects load, but you never see the objects. Just the spinning circle of dots icon. I've tried in firefox and IE.
This is the live wallpaper for Special Room
Available for download in the market
The baby will react you your touch and the Birds will Sing
OMFG
If only someone would do a homestarrunner live wallpaper like that baby one I would get it in a heart beat!

My Top Apps is an app that helps you take control of the apps you have on your device.
We all know that once you have lots of apps, it could be very frustrating looking for your favorite apps all the time, or constantly reorganizing your home page to have your most used apps.
This app is all about making your life easier by adapting your apps use habits and organize your apps by its usage.
My Top Apps monitors the apps that you use and provides quick access to the apps you used recently, most used apps or the apps that you use for the longest duration.
My Top Apps offers a launcher-style view, details view or a timeline view of the apps you use, and a set of widgets so you will never have to customize your home page with your favorite apps.
The app is available for download on the Android market or AppBrain.
Detailed user guide is available here.
nice app to add to your portfolio. i've downloaded it and giving it a try. i like the ignore apps feature with MRU, keeps my handy apps even handier. i might just have to get rid of my folders now, i'll be sure to leave an appropriate rating in about a week.
just for my sake, LRU is only based on last use; MRU is based on the number of uses; and Pro gets an additional ordering based on total time used. is this correct?
edit: sorry, missed the link to your blog, which covers that question clearly.. thanks

I just released an update with the following features:
Added widgets theme selection (Includes Transparent, Dark and Purple - Pro version only)
Add backup and restore of app activation history
Support ICS theme
Bug Fixes (refresh of large widgets and more)
Hi everyone, and happy new year!
I think many of you would find useful the app I have just developed and published:
Pic Perfect helps you find the best image out of a set you choose by showing you two at a time, side by side, and then giving you options to copy/move/delete/share them.
With it, you no longer have to flip back and forth between images in your gallery to pick the best photo for an album cover or to post on Facebook/Instagram/etc. And it's even more ideal for burst mode, since it will disregard pictures it can guess you don't want. For example, given 30 images, if you like Image 10 better than Image 20 then it won't show you Images 21-30. (But you can always choose not to use that feature if you don't want it).
Let me know what you think!
UPDATE 1/12/14: I added apk for direct download. Find it below. Thanks!

Lucas

A quick update for everyone: I just implemented zoom functionality on the Compare screen. Check it out and let me know what you think!

I have reworked the zoom functionality so it should be much smoother now. There shouldn't be any more problems with large (13MP) photos anymore.
Hi all, I've made some more improvements to the app. Check out Pic Perfect v1.1.2, and please rate it five stars if you like it!

Hi, I am a (NEW) Android developer, I just published my first application in the google play and I would be very grateful if you could take a look. The application's name is DataBox and it is used to save data in a organized way. The users create templates and later they use them to collect data. Templates can be of any kind; maintenance of my car, places to visit, the health records of my son,... Anything you can think of.
Features,
• Free app (ad supported, limited to three DataBox)
• Different kinds of visualization templates: list, calendar, map, gallery
• You can share your DataBox templates with anothers users, (you can include your data too)
• You can do backups of your DataBox.
• You can create shortcuts of your DataBox in your desktop
Premium features
• No ads
• You can create more than three DataBox
Playstore url:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=es.rllavero.android.databox&hl=en
I hope that you would find the application as useful as me.
Could you help me telling me few suggestions or bugs?
Thanks in advance,
Rllavero

Yes, I am working in new features.
I am trying to implement a repository where you can download prepared templates. I want to add a lot of templates of any type.
Also i want to allow users sending their data by email in a nice design.
I want to do both as soon as possible

Removed Splash screen (suggested for the users)
Now all the images in the application have the scale-type="centerCrop"
I hope everything is ok
Hi guys,
UPDATE 2016-02-22: Current Android Studio makes it easy creating apps with material design. I wont update this thread and it can be closed. Feel free to use the code at github if you find anything useful there.
Android Material Design is the way to go at the moment, but there is no example from google providing a basic setup.
There is many information spreaded in lots of threads and articles, thus this makes it hard for beginners to fetch all the information and bring it together.
What I came up with, is a clean Android Studio project providing all the material style you need.
My goal is, to share and improve this template, in order to provide future developers a starting point.
Look here:

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
There is no external library included, so you can edit all the elements.
Feel free to fork and use this project. If theres something missing, please send me a pull request!

Updates
22.02.2015
Updated to Android Studio 1.1
Fixed accent color for lollipop devices
16.09.2015
Updated to Android Studio 1.3.2
Changed the way tabs are inflated and added to the view. You can now dynamically add and remove tabs! Its much easier now to change the content of the app. Reorganized and optimized source code. This update is a must!
Is this an actual template that you can import and create new apps from or just an example that you can edit and make modifications as you like
What is the largest resolution?
It's actually not that clear what is the purpose of you project.
It seems like just two combined google templates from android studio: View Pager and Navigation Drawer

It should help you build apps with the Material Design. This is no template you can import into android Studio.

Not quite right. If you combine those templates you wont have a material look in 4.4 and you wont have a material tabbar. I just tried to give a starting point, because for me it was hard to get these informations together to a working project.

Hi,
you have to remove the SlidingTabLayout and the ViewPager from the acitivity_main.xml.
Then, in MainAcivity.java remove all calls related to that objects.
These are in initLayout(), bindTabevents, addTab, etc.
You may remove all Java Class files related to Tabs, too.
Dont forget to add a new layout element which replaces the viewpager, so you can add your content there.
I hope this helps.
Hi!
Good template to start with material design.
Wish I've had it earlier
