Hi guys, before i start, can i just say that im new to this forum. And i don't know much about this community's "culture" and practices so if this thread is not accepted please do tell me and i will remove/change it to fit the "conventions" & "requirements".
Ok so, to the main point. I was wondering if it would be possible for someone to code something to make the Moto X be able to have stereo speakers. I've been using my Note II for some time now and the only reason why I have not upgraded to the Moto X is because i've seen/heard that the Moto X, though having 2 front facing speakers, only uses one for media while the other (top speaker) is solely for calls.
So is it possible? Because this is kinda the only "deal-breaker" to me.
Thanks guys !
Hi,
I very much doubt this, as it would be a hardware limitation, but here is the Moto X q&a section if you'd like to ask there...

Hi guys, i'm looking for a new cheap android smartphone. I saw nexus 4 is still a good phone, but most people are going with n5 and n4 is no longer supported by google.
I don't want to spend much so i'd prefer to buy moto g. Also, i know android thanks to my friends, but i'm still with nokia 5800 (symbian) and i think i'll be happy switching to android. Which devide do you advice?
Is really resistant moto G? I see it has gorilla 3 instead nexus 4 has gorilla 2. I need a resistant phone because i travel every day with school/work.
Also, i'm going to buy "rubesperry pi", i heard is possible to connect the "pi" to android smarthphone. Is moto g a good device to run "Pi" ? also can Moto G run Ubuntu Touch/Backtrack/Kali linux too? I don't know if 1GB of ram is enough for Moto G
Do you still prefer nexus 4 (2GB of ram) for modding, dual boot other OS etc or Moto G is good too?
thanks a lot for your time reading my post
Could i get some advices please? Or this is wrong section? thank you
Hi, nexus 4 is supported officially , and will be supported unofficially for years to come. Nexus 4 is a far superior phone than moto g and can do anything like Ubuntu or any other os , has support more than any phone

On this budget, the 2nd-gen Moto G would also be my choice. Great support by Motorola (regarding updates), easy to get, good reviews, 5 inch screen, etc. Other phones that cheap often come with major disadvantages, e.g., lack of HD resolution or horrible battery life. An alternative could be a used Nexus 5 phone. If you want to save even more money, you could also look for a 1st gen Moto G.
Best Regards,

hi, well the deal is i just buy a new mother board for my moto g becouse i break the old, but with this new board i have troubles with the wifi in fack this don't work, i try to activate but it turn off immediately, and when put the camera i can't see the back camera only give me acces to the front camera...
my question is, try to change the rom(maibe it software problem) or ask for the money back.
Hi,
Can you specify 2013 or 2014 moto g? I will then have you thread moved to your device section. Thanks!
Hey,
I've been looking for a Call Recorder on the Motorola Moto G 2013 single Sim, no LTE. XT1032.
I could'nt really find anything that is working
I just rooted my device.
Do you know of any that works not just by using the microphone to record but the "phone line"?
Thanks in advance!
Sorry if this the wrong sub-forum, quite confusing here
Best wishes.

Hello! You are in the Moto G 2015 forum. The best place to ask is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/help
Good luck!
Bold beast and TotalRecall work on 3rg Gen Moto G. Check them if they do work for your phone
Hi everyone, I'm learning more about Android, I'm a musician too, and want to use (in future) Amplitube in my Moto G 2014.
Thinking on professional music apps, Samsung created Samsung Pro Audio, which delivers very low audio latency.
My questions is: Can it be ported to another non-Samsung device? If not, is there a possibility to do it in future, if a developer who know much about android try?
Sorry if it's a too noob question, but I didn't find an answer anywhere in my searches
Much like almost anything Samsung, I doubt the source code for the Pro Audio support is available. Furthermore, given the low-end hardware in the Moto G, I doubt you'd get anywhere near the same experience even if a developer found a way.
