Hi guys.
So today I was like experimenting with my phone (3 months old) and I was trying to install new ROM on it. I couldn't install custom ROM (CM 11.0) from my recovery mode because I was always getting some sort of errors so I took it to the next level and tried to do it with my PC. I downloaded ROM on PC and tried to install it with fastboot mode and the program that I downloaded on my PC asked me to flash .img file not .zip and I(dumbass) found boot.img inside of .zip file and selected only that boot.img file and flashed it. And now its stuck in boot loop.
My phone is not really famous and its not brand phone. It's "H18 NOA C24" some copy of S3 Mini I couldn't find the stock firmware or ROM for it on the internet. Please help, tell me what can I do to bring my phone back to live.
Thanks
Hi,
So what happened is you just flashed a kernel which probably isn't compatible with current ROM
Unfortunately I can't find anything about your device here so I would ask your question in the q&a section here and hope someone will have a fix for you

Best of luck!

Recently accidently deleted my boot.img because I wanted to change the boot animation. Ended up being the biggest mistake I made. I decided to try and recover the file i deleted by flashing another boot.img, but i soon realised that the boot.img i flashed wasn't compatible with the device which caused my phone to bootloop. I know that if i want a solution to this issue, I'd have to install a new rom which is compatible with my phone but i'm having trouble looking for the update.zip for my phone. Is it possible that someone could upload the update.zip for N920e so i can fix this issue?
Hi.
Unfortunately, flashing a boot.img of another device probably sealed the fate of your phone. However, you can ask around in the Android Q and A section over here:

Good Luck!
Thank you. Thread closed!
Hey,ive searched high and low but to no avail and hopefully you geniuses wud be able to help me wich will greatly be appreciated, ive rooted my phone the hisense u971 its the 4gig version bought in south africa software version: w1002.6.05.01.za00 with kernel version 3.4.0 on android 4.3 so the phone is rooted with towelroot and confirmed with rootchecker, bt before i do anything further i wud like to backup my official rom before messing things up as ive read and seen how hard it is to get hold of an official rom for these phones. Ive installed cwm rom manager bt whenn i select backup rom the phone reboots into recovery with a few options namely reboot, wipe and something about adb and install from sd bt no rom backup option so if anyone can point me into the right direction as to how i can backup my room i would appreciate it. Thanx
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist.
It seems to me that you don't really have a custom recovery. You should have more options with CWM or TWRP.

Good luck!
Thanx for your reply ill hv a look at the forum u suggested since the cwm i have installed has a TWRP option
Hello everybody!
I own a HTC One M7 that I've bought of my buddy and accidently erased my OS file on the phone's recovery system. I've been looking through all possible tutorials on the internet (Youtube, Google, XDA...) and only found one that sounds similar to my problem of trying to copy ROM zip file to the freshly wiped device( I can't post the link atm, so you'll have to SG4it)
But here's where the issue begins; Since it's just stuck in the bootloading sequence(due to the misssing OS file), I have to do it through the recovery system. I've tried to follow the instructions as it commands, but can't even find what it calls the "c:\mini-sdk" anywhere on the computer(Windows 8 is the OS I have on the computer).
I've been working with this since 9.00 am in the morning until 10 p.m. on the evening, European timeline, and I really need help. I can't afford to leave it in a repair store and in constant need of my phone .
Any helpful advice or input will be very appreciated.
With Humble Regards
Alexander
Hello,
Welcome to XDA.
If you have a rooted device with custom recovery(CWM or TWRP) then all should have to do is download a custom ROM and Gapps in .zip format and flash them in recovery.

I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy J200G with TWRP recovery installed. I have downloaded the following firmwares for my phone:

2- J200GDCU2APL6_J200GODD2APL6_J200GDDU2APJ2_HOME.tar
3- J200GDDU2APL7_J200GODD2APL7_J200GDDU2APJ2_HOME.tar
4- J200GDDU1AOI3_J200GODD1AOI3_J200GDDU1AOI3_HOME.tar
5- J200GDDU1APE2_J200GODD1APE2_J200GDDU1APE2_HOME.tar
6- J200GDDU1AOK1_J200GODD1AOK1_J200GDDU1AOK1_HOME.tar
Now i have successfully flashed the first three but when I try to flash the last three through odin, it always fails and i can't figure out why. Can someone please tell me the reason or probably a solution?
