[Q] Can't sent or recieve MMS after stump root - AT&T LG G3

Hello everyone,
After just using stump root on my att LG G3 and installing supersu, xposed, titanium backup and G3 tweaks I can no longer send or receive MMS. Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem?
Thanks.

I can tell you stump root isn't the issue as I have an AT&T g3 and I used stump root. Also supersu doesn't touch mms or the text app and neither does xposed. I assume you either deleted or froze something using titanium that shouldn't have or installed a module into xposed that's conflicting... Also check your apn setting and make sure your ports and proxys are correct for mms. They might have gotten erased somehow

Do you have adaware installed? Then it could be the culprit. Mine drove me nuts and even a trip to the store. I could not get pics or videos from my wife's iphone but could from another G3 until I disabled adaware.

Adaware blocked my MMS too. Too bad, worked great otherwise

[Q] Three in Touch app not working

Hi, Three (UK) have released a nice app that if you have no actual phone signal but you do have wifi you can still make calls, texts etc.
Except it won't run on my (totally stock and un tampered with) One PLus.
It says my device is rooted, tried Titanium Backup and it says it isn't rooted.
Anyone have a clue on how to make it unrooted (enough) for the Three app please?
Thanks
Jim
It's because CM is flagged as a rooted ROM even when it isn't. There are apps available on the Play Store that can cloak root.

what apps are available to cloak root as im not very knowlegdable on android
Google search root cloak.

For reference, root cloaking apps don't work with Sky Go so might not work with the Three In Touch app either - depends how the app was written

Did you reset after updating? Updating without resetting can cause issues.
Or did you make any build.propchange? Also if still not working. I'd blame xposed.

I basically did a bare metal restore so yes it was a clean install
and also I just removed xposed and all the modules ,no luck
I don't know how to remove the xposed sdk though
Thanks
no,build prop changes that I know of

So you RESET the phone after taking the latest update? That's what I was asking. Not before he update but after the update.

It is a known issue with xposed. You can still tether, but you cannot open the setting panel for Tethering & networks. If you just need to enable/disable tethering, you can grab one of many apps/widgets from play store that will let you toggle it on/off.
If you did a full wipe prior to installing, you wont be able to tether. You will need to install your ROM, and before doing more, set up tethering, then if you wish, install exposed. Unless you had it enabled prior to installing xposed, you wont be able to configure it.
If you have a backup where tethering was enabled and you restore to that, it should be able to be at least toggled on/off without needing to configure it first.

Need help uninstalling xposed framework

So I successfully installed framework on my flex 2 using flashfire. Buuuuut my snapchat is broken. I really wanted to use snapprefs but I installed the wrong version and not the updated version in the apps forum. Now I can't login to snapchat and keeps giving me an error that says something like "snapchat is temporarily unavailable" because it read that I had root access, xposed, and snapprefs installed. Could I uninstall xposed using the uninstaller zip and flasing it in flashfire? Or would I have to restoring it to stock.
Also I factory unlocked my att g flex 2 with a code that came with it when I bought it from ebay and I don't know if i'll lose my unlock if i restore it as I don't have a backup. (Yes I know a TOTAL NOOB MOVE!):crying:

Yeah, it works using the uninstaller.zip. Make sure you use the arm64-version. No need to revert back to stock

Why dont you try rootcloack first?

[Completed] The Home Screen is completely black.

So, I root my Lg Tribute 2 with Kingroot, then use my root privileges to delete a system app called "TextNow". I know it's usually not a good idea to delete system apps, but I figured since TextNow is just a messaging app and I have had 4 completely successful attempts at deleting the system app TextNow with a rooted Lg Tribute 1, I thought it wouldn't be different. Well, after I do so, I power off the device (I had to power it off a lot, since Kingroot made it extremely slow, I would had preferred to root it using Kingoroot, but it couldn't do it.) and I find out my home screen is completely black, no apps or anything working, I can swipe my tab down and go to settings via that, but that's basically all I can do, hopefully the fact that my settings are available might help me. Anyway, help on this would be GREATLY appreciated, thanks.

Greetings and welcome to assist. I think you may need to reflash stock rom via adb/fastboot to make your phone work again, it looks like your systemui is fc

Barclays Mobile App NOT working on Rooted S8

Hello there
I am running a custom ROM on my Galaxy S8 and it is rooted using Magisk rather than SuperSU. SnapChat works fine with Magisk as it does not detect the root, however I've tried everything with the Barclays Mobile App but I just get stuck on the first screen and nothing happens afterwards.
At first it used to ask me to grant it root permissions and of course I did, but it has never actually worked.
I am not completely sure, but I have a feeling it has to do with the fact that my device is rooted.
Can someone please shed some light on this? I really need to get this application working as it is important for me. Do I have to go back to completely stock in order to use this application?
Thanks!
yes, it doesn't work on rooted devices. One of the ways that it tries to detect root is by trying to get root, as it happened in you case. By granting it root access, you marked your phone as rooted, and disabled the app. In case you were wondering, it has many other ways to detect root. It used to work with magisk hide, but I tried just today, and it seems that they can detect it too, as I can't use it anymore. By the way, your phone is flagged as rooted, and you will either have to do a factory reset to get it working, or call Barclays, but I think that there is no way to get it working. If you find out how to get it to work, please share it.
