Hey, got a problem with dsp manager. When i press bass boost, its sounds like it only boost higher basstones and not the lower ones. Does anybody got a fix? Running Feralab v7.2 but i had this problem with TEAM transparent rom also... I even got this problem with my mini pro but that igot fixed by adding a other version... Equalizer working as it should.

Same issue with MIUI and Wolfbreak ROMs as well. Guess the BassBoost feature is not compatible on the X10. I installed the very same apk on an X8 and it seemed to work really well. So i guess its something to do with the X10's libs maybe??

Same with x10mini pro, same sound as now but that was fixed with just replaced it with a other version. But now i dont have Dsp manager longer. installed Feralab V10.3 and the eq in the musicplayer is just to wonderful to replace it with Dsp
That mean when u turn bass boost and u get ugly sound this dsp manager is not supported with audio libs or effects files in rom,and u need the right dsp,but hey that is my conclusion.
you need a lib files in soundfx folder that is
libcyanogen-dsp.so
and it working!

Did anybody tried acid audio engine on j/miro/tipo?

I tried it on my tipo dual, got a hissing sound after installing.... had to reflash my tipo... i guess it's mainly due to the beats audio binaries...
the Beats mod downloaded from PimpMyROM works with CM10. Haven't tried it with stock yet
use v6.1, perfectly working on my tipo with stock rom
just one issue, walkman app not working, use use another walkman app ported for tipo, everything working fine(sond enhancements, BEATS audio)
Does that boost up the volume levels on stock rom?

Did yu find any problems in the phone after installing, or is everything ok???
This is an audio mod that i find as impresseive as acid audio and works on our devices 100%

Updated as of 4/20: now viper audio mod come with auto installation so no more worries about changing audioeffects.conf file or moving libs.
Installation isntructions for our gs3 phones:
1.download the preferred version of audio mod : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191223
2. unzip file and copy mod apk to phone
3.install the apk and choose cortex A8 for fx and cortex for xhifi
This audio mod is safe to use and will not cause any kind of damage to our phones.
Those having trouble running this mod on synergy pm me so I can tell you the instructions.
Now this mod comes with convolver emulation!
This is not the same as audio manager dsp or beats emulation. This is far better!

Yes and I only tried with stock touchwiz rom. Its working on my gs3 with cleanrom 6r2 and viperfx is more for speakers because it has more setings for speakers like sorround sound and all that and xhifi has settings like song clarity and bass level but both can be used for speakers and headset

Wow, quite impressive! I just did a manual install over CleanROM 6R2 (with the Anthrax kernel) and the sound is fantastic. I only have the stock headphones to use, but the bass is deep and everything is clean, clear and not distorted.
One thing I noticed with AC!D and Beats is the bass gets completely blown out, at least with my setup. This makes it sound amazing!

So it works with acid audio too?! Nice to hear that because i only tried it on stock cleanrom without any audio mods and with what version of acid is it working?

Sorry, I should have clarified. This was installed over a stock CleanROM setup. I've had previous ROMs installed with various audio mods (like AC!D and Beats), but I didn't have those installed when I put on this Mod.

Oh ok and for those who have acid already installed and don't want to do a fresh install of a ROM to install this mod then I'm going to test and see if this mod is compatible with acid without the addons but so far only the acid clear audio+ add on is compatible with this mod and it gives an even more clean sound!
Update: it doesn't work with acid v7 but a new update is up and has convolver!

I listen to music with my phone through the aux in my car. Any suggestions for the version and settings that sound best? Currently using HiFi and it sounds great. Just wanted to get others opinions, thanks.

I use viper fx with the fire equializer all the toggles up and with the convolver on urei impulse hard and i can hear the mids and lows perfectly
I just switch to the viperfx I like that one better with the acid mod clearaudio+ add on. I will just toy with the settings to find good fit for me.

I exclusively use IEMs, so I am trying to install XHiFi.
Do I still follow the installation instructions in the OP of this thread?
The documentation that comes with XHiFi says that because I am on Android 4.2 that I may need to do the "Compatibility Setup," which is way more complicated than what the OP instructs.

U have to download the manual installation zip of xhifi and read the readme file in the zip or u can try the manager apk

That's what I thought. The read me file for the manual installation for 4.2 roms is a bit complicated. Requires a PC, which I won't have access to for the rest of the day.
Was hoping I wouldn't have to wait until tomorrow to try this out. Wanted it on my phone for a long flight tonight.

u dont necessarily need a pc just download es file explorer and go from there

clearaudio+ dont work with v4a.
EDIT: pica, clearaudio+ dont work with any V4A, because we either use sound enhancement(clearaudio+ etc) or v4a.

the clear audio from acid from this zip http://d-h.st/ZKX does work and all i did was extract the apk from it and install it as a regular apk and it does work and it gives a little bit more clarity with viper fx and there is no need for sound enchantment.

After flashing, did Dolby atmos replace the audio fx or it didn't?
Just wanna know before I flash this, because as much as I love Dolby sound system I love audio fx too. So I wanna see both on my device without conflicting.

You would need to install the Audio Modification Library from Magisk. I don't think you can run them simultaneously.
