[Completed] [Q] Liquidsmooth Rom Compatible gsm - XDA Assist

Hey guys, new to the forum and have a question and was hoping you guys could help.
Phone: HTC One m7
Rom: Stock 4.4.2
Network: Telus (Canada)
I want to for the first time flash a custom rom and really like the liquid smooth rom. My question is though I dont know which htc one rom for liquid smooth to flash that is compatible with telus. The optitions are: Sprint, Verizon, and Unified GSM. Futhermore, my phone is not unlocked to all carriers so would i have to do that to make it work with my sim?
Also does liquid smooth have a built in update feature or would i have to keep flashing new roms every time they release a new update?
Thanks!

I am not sure of teleus. But if its a GSM Carrier, then the unified GSM Rom should be ok for you.
It might be better to pose the question on One Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting so that the right experts may be of help.
The thread in question for you is [ROM][4.4.2][OFFICIAL] LiquidSmooth | KitKat | m7 Since you do not have sufficient post count, you might want to post in the forum linked above.
You may also follow the tutorial to get your count up. Postcount limit in developmental fora

Thank you, I created another post. Telus is gsm. Do you know if I would need to unlock my phone from telus or would the unified gsm cover that?

You do not need the phone Unlocked. The Unified Rom will not Unlock it either.

[Completed] Kernel compatible with HTC One m7 (Sprint) running LiquidSmooth v3.2 (KitKat 4.4.4)

Is there a Kernel compatible with HTC One m7 (Sprint) running LiquidSmooth v3.2 (KitKat 4.4.4) that would allow for overclocking and wake gestures? Inquiring minds must know! Thanks!
Hi,
I see from your previous Assist thread on a similar topic that you know the rom thread. That would be a better place to ask for help with the rom.
Or look through the development section and check out the available kernels and their features and compatibility.
> Sprint HTC One > Sprint HTC One Android Development
Please understand also that XDA Assist is here to help members navigate the site and find the correct sections to post in. We're not here for support or advice. And you have found your device section.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-htc-one
So you should find things for your device there, or ask for help in its Q&A section when stuck . ?
Thank you for understanding.

[Completed][Q] LTE issues with LG G2 D802 flashed with LS-KK-v3.2-2014-10-10

Hello,
I just recently flashed a LG G2 d802 with a LiquidSmooth LS-KK-v3.2-2014-10-10 ROM, and are facing some issues on getting AT&T's LTE network to work with my phone. I was going to post this question on the official thread itself, but since I had less than 10 phones, I was redirected to a Q&A thread instead.
Was wondering if it would be helpful if I post bugs that I find while I'm using the ROM? Since I love the ROM, it's fast, but I have a couple of issues on auto-brightness, LTE data network support, and other things.
Cheers!
Hi,
The following thread is the correct place where you should ask related questions

Thank you!

[Completed] [Q] Cant find the link to the T999UVUEMJC Modem in [ROM][5.3.14] :StockMOD ROM: | Gal

In the thread created by saranhai it is stated that
YOU MUST FLASH THE T999UVUEMJ4 MODEM, T999UVUEMJC MODEM OR THE T999UVUENC2 MODEM FOR T-MOBILE GALAXY S III IN ORDER FOR DATA TO WORK; OTHERWISE YOU WILL NOT HAVE DATA
ALSO, IF YOU OWN A SGH-T999V AND HAVE UPDATED TO ANDROID 4.4.2 (VLFNF1), YOU CAN ONLY USE THE 4.4.2 MODEM!
AS USUAL, I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR DEVICE! ONE WRONG MOVE (Especially with the Modem) AND YOU COULD END UP WITH A VERY EXPENSIVE BRICK. PROCEED AT OWN RISK.
When you scroll down on the website you will find that there are 4 links to 4 things labeled
"
-StockMOD Custom ROM-
A ROM aimed at giving you the core features of TouchWiz, and much more!
-StockMOD ROM-
Completely based on Stock ROM, little to no changes.
-Community Section-
A place for all of the previously uploaded ROMs, the Mods Center, and Signature Banners!
-F.A.Q-
Answers to (Hopefully) all your questions
"
After clicking on "-StockMOD Custom ROM- A ROM aimed at giving you the core features of TouchWiz, and much more! " you will find that it will give you a link to the required modem. Unfortunately, when I click on "-StockMOD ROM- Completely based on Stock ROM, little to no changes. " it says under "prerequisites" that I need the T999UVUEMJC Modem but with no link given. I am having trouble finding this modem. In addition, I tried searching up T999UVUEMJC Modem on google in hope for finding the actual download, but I was not able to find anything (im unsure about some of the downloads)
Link for the thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2501303
(THIS IS NOT THE LINK FOR THE MODEM IM LOOKING FOR. IT IS ONLY THE LINK TO THE THREAD I WAS REFERRING TO)
Hi,
Sorry for the late reply!
You can ask in the rom thread you linked in your second post. Because you have not reached 10 constructive posts yet, it will automatically post your question in your devices Q&A section. ?
If that doesn't help you, you can ask for help here,
> Samsung Galaxy S III I9300, I9305 > Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [HELP THREAD] Galaxy S3 Ask any question.
Good luck!
Thank you. Thread closed.

[Completed] [Q] I Need Help in updating my HTC One m8

Hello,
This is my first time using XDA developers, or any type of forum to be honest, so please do tolerate my very bad knowledge of the terminology and concepts behind almost everything I've seen on the forum so far. Also, don't roast me if this in the wrong section, I'm a major noob :silly::silly:
B, Anyways,
I have an HTC One M8 32 GB from Verizon that is GSM unlocked and unrooted. The phone is running android 4.4.2, so I went to the settings to try and do a software update, but that option is greyed out and says "Update only works in CDMA mode". And then I found this link, not sure if it helps, but can anyone help me as to how I can update my phone? Thanks "

Better to check this thread: [10-22][firmware][all stock img]all files have updated t0 4.4.4.
It also contains a video guide for how to update.
For general video tutorials check this: [HOW To Videos]Basic (HTC M8) set up and functions.
And if you have further questions, please ask either in the Verizon One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [Q&A] [ALL FILES HAVE UPDATED T0 4.4.4 [firmware][10-22][boot.img][ recovery][STOCK thread, or in the Verizon One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.

Thanks for your help, however I just have two questions.
The first one is do I need to have rooted phone in order to run an RUU?
Also, the thread you posted seems to be for stock android, which does not include the HTC Sense UI that is included in the RUU of the thread I posted?

AFAIK root is not needed. But IDK about SenseUI.
Please ask in the Q&A thread or forum I linked in my previous answer.
Thanks for your understanding. Thread closed.
