I've seen some Smart View cases being sold for the M8 and the pictures show a Galaxy SViewesque appearance. Is there way to actually enable that for our phones? The magnet in the case would only activate the dot view I would think. Has anyone tried on of these cases?

Has anyone tried using a flipcover with an actual case as well? I do like the features of the sview cover, however it doesnt really provide much protection, would be nice if it could be modded to work with a spigen sgp or a otterbox commuter. this may be a pipe dream but just wanted to know if anyone has tried it of if anyone else has the same feelings
Check out Spigen, they sell a cover specifically to be used with the S-View Flip Cover. Here is the link:

better colour choice.
they have a skyfall series but not available in market yet.
Am interested in purchasing the feather s view flip cover by Itskins but was wondering if anyone here has purchased it before? I tried looking around here but couldn't find any posts on it. Just wanted to get any feed back on the case, how it works, feels, bulkiness, etc. if anyone has any information or pictures that would help a lot before I purchase the case, thanks!

I am finally taking the leap back to Samsung after being a Samsung Hater since my GS2. Have had every Htc and LG phone since. Im excited to have a phone that every accessory known to man is available.
Having ZERO experience with Sview, id like to know do case companies make Sview cases or are they propreitary to Samsung? I really liked the LG circle case, and had a leather one made by TETDED which was really cool. Thanks
The only truly leather case which works like a S View case is made by Montblanc see here http://m.montblanc.com/en-gb/produc...let-computer-case-ii-sgn4-black-s-113387.aspx
And why do you think that has the view box? There are tons of leather diary style cases. I'm looking for one with the windo
The Samsung sview is actually really nice. If you register you phone with sammy, they send you a 50% off any accessories under $50, so the sview ends up being $25. It's not leather, but still feels nice. Hit up Best Buy and pull one out of the box, see how you like it.

Obviously the case does not have a view window. I am not stupid. But it is like the S View in that it has the electronics and connectivity of the S View case and allows access to additional software. Not all S View cases have a window there is a style with LED display. If you find a leather case with the special connectors please post a link.
The official Samsung S View case is decent but flawed. If you flip the front cover open all the way around to the back cover, in order to hold it normally, you will notice that it becomes easier to accidently open the case now as the binding weakens.
Anyone know what holster/belt clip would fit with a dot view case? I know that the dot view case hasn't come out yet...it should be similar with the m8 dot view case.
I know seidio have holsters for their surface or dilex case. How about the otterbox defender holster? If neither those company, maybe a good fitted pouch?
Good idea i like it. thank u.

Great quality!
Are there any good rugged cases out there that anyone ia using?
Ordered 6 cases. I'll let you know.
I've tried two cases.
One is an Urban Armor case, that seems a bit like a roided up bumper case, which was fine, but I really wanted something more comparable to an Otterbox case which I had for the V30 (for whatever reason, there is no V50 Otterbox case sadly. After doing a bit of digging I found a Tuff case by Mybat. I just put it on and the experience was similar to the Otterbox Defender series, with two plastic shells surrounding the rubber membrane that wraps around the phone. A huge difference however is that the top and bottom of the case don't clip in, though the sides seem to lock in fairly securely so I'll see where that takes me. The phone does feel overall more secure in this case, and the naturally added bulk is no issue for me. Also, no branding on the case as compared to Otterbox or Urban Armor, so that's neat.
The belt clip that came with it seems a bit too rigid though. When securing the phone face-in for transport, it takes a bit of force too lift the plastic lip to release the phone. If you put the phone in face-out for viewing case it self seems to almost come apart when trying to remove it. I almost want to try sanding the little 'teeth' down on the lip to see if that helps, or if there's just a trick to it I'm missing. I had a similar issue when initially using Otterbox defenders, so it may just be a quirk for these rugged cases.
Either way, I hope this helps you and anyone else looking for a case.
Urban Armor case: https://www.amazon.com/URBAN-ARMOR-...ywords=LG+V50+ThinQ+5G&qid=1577252179&sr=8-14
TUFF case: https://www.cases.com/lg-v50-thinq-...rade-certified-with-black-horizontal-holster/
Look no further. These are hands down the best cases for LG V50. And you've probably never heard of either one.

As you can see, both cases are designed extremely well. They also have a very similar design to be made by different companies. They both offer 'real sense' touch buttons on the side. I do think the Nimbus 9 offers a bit extra camera protection which is nice. However for my daily use I prefer the Tech 21 case because I find the black Nimbus 9 to have a red tint to it. If I had gotten the Nimbus 9 in a different color, I'd probably like it better.
Belt clip options?
Can either of these cases be obtained with belt clip options? I didn't see any on the links that you included.
