Wifi Problem After Upgrading to Gingerbread

hi friends,
m having a problem with my wifi after upgrading my gti9003 to gingerbread. The signal strength is too low, i have to literally keep stat next to the router to get proper wifi signal. Any idea, what this problem is, m sure the phone it self is ok cause it was working fine with fyro. Please help me fix this problem.

Yeah! Same here .. on xxkpm + CF-ROOT ... also wifi keeps on disconnecting..

Come on seniors... help us here.... Wi-fi is really buggy for me in xxkpm after CF-root with surprise.
A little lag also exists in the OS.. calls donot display immediately ( so cannot pick them up instantly) and lock screen also opens slowly... ( sometimes screen remains OFF even after unlocking ) kind of hangs...

No one to help?

Sorry i register this site to learn more about my tablet and how to root it, Im new at most of it. Ive been researching about rooting and most site reffered to this site. I learn some basic rooting terms and watched videos about either how to root( but never performed anything) or top thing why to root my tablet. Im really stuck what to do and im only relying on this to actually help out. So if anyone here can help just message me or something( sorry new to a forum as well)

I have rooted my Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos GT i9082 using this root genius however after rooting my phone I don't know what to do next. What apps should I install now? I got a problem on my internal memory, how can I maximize it? What should I really do to have a good rooted phone?

Hi,
Normally when you post an issue in someone elses thread with another unrelated issue... We'd call that thread hijacking. ? Not a good practice.
But I will quickly just tell you that your device has its own section, and you can ask questions there....

i'm a new user to the xda site as i were an old fashion mobile user till lately my brother in law bought a new xperia z1 ultra -my recommend- for himself and gave me his old galaxy y duos .
i'm trying to boost up as much as i could of it to use but i'm just a beginner in this field so any help would be appreciated .

In your case, I think you should spend some time browsing the different sections for your device and read up on what others do with it. And check the development section for roms and all that fun stuff. So instead of a specific section or thread, since you seem to want to learn and do much with it.... Yes, the section says s5360...but it's for yours as well. Just be sure to only flash things made specifically for your model. Also good to mention your model when posting anything. ?

[Completed] [Q] LG G2 sync issues

Hi all.
First post so sorry if its in the wrong place.
I have an LG G2 D802 currently running the Pardus Sensation v3.1 rom which I really like
I was today having a look at removing unwanted apps from my phone however by accident I have removed the system app "Calendar Storage" which has now resulted in me being unable to sync any calendar.
Going into options, I have no option of syncing Calendar as it is not there. I have tried various fixes but nothing as worked so far. I did find a a Calendar storage apk which brought back the Calendar sync option however it produced an error and an explanation mark next to the sync symbol
I don't really want to clear the phone and start again and I never did a backup unfortunately :crying:
Is there any other way of fixing this. Would anyone be able to direct me to a replacement file that would work?

Hi,
Just flash the rom again, without wiping anything. That should fix it.
Also, personally, I freeze bloat... I never uninstall. It won't free up much space, and everything is there if I need it or have issues. I use Titanium Backup.

[Completed] [Q] Galaxy S3 Mini Boot Animation

Hello there. I rooted my Phone and changed my boot animation successfully. I just want to ask can't I make it shorter? I want to make "SteamOS Boot Animation(5to10 secs)". But I only make loop animation. I want to make animation that starts the phone as soon as after animation ends. Is there any way to do this? Really sorry for Bad English.

Hi,
The phone takes a specific amount of time to boot... Shortening your bootanimation won't speed it up. As far as it looping, that's an issue with how the animation was made. It's been setup to loop instead of end after one go.
I'd say if you still want to ask about this, you should ask in your device section, here...
