I downloaded WinDroid Universal HTC Toolkit. When I start it It asks to download ADB drivers and, after accepting, I get bunch of errors dialogs. Here is log:

I get the same error when WinDroid tries to download recovery images.
Windows 7/64bit.

Hi everyone,
Am an android newbie so please be gentle with me
I have a HTC Desire hd. It is on Orange UK and has stock 2.3.5 firmware
I am using AAHK and was having issues on 64 bit windows 7 so am running off Ubuntu live cd
I understand from reading the forums that i must downgrade to 2.3.3 and aahk will do this automatically
I have seen screenshots where AAHK displays the PD98IMG-GB2.zip, but I am unable to see this no matter what i do and AAHK sticks at pushing the rom
I have checked and my phone is S-On

EDIT - Using Ubuntu I have discovered with the phone connected and using command ADB REBOOT BOOTLOADER and FASTBOOT REBOOT have no effect

It's basically the same for me. I have however not tried running it yet because the effen manual gives those test commdands first. I'm also in Ubuntu (12.04). Device is in charging mode an USB debugging on. I don't know how to check for S-ON. What's best for me (us) to do now?
Software 3.12.405.1. Shipped with Froyo if I recall correctly, bought it when it came out in Europe in oct 2010.
Edit: Misunderstood. The test commands are meant to be run in another windows of the terminal, as root. These commands worked so I started the hack. Had to downgrade as well but went for y.

signature verification issues
When I attempt to flash this rom onto my p905v using any version of odin (I have tried 3.04, 3.07, and 3.09) I am getting this error:
secure magiccode check fail.
I also tried install this using adb sideload and I am getting a signature verification error when I do that. Did anyone run into a similar issue with this device? Thanks I really appreciate any help.

It seems like you're using a different Odin than the one that made the hash, most likely older. However, just take the .md5 string away from the filename and flash it as .tar instead. Unlress, of course, your file is from an obscure source.

anyone else receiving complete write failed? I get this when I flash after removing the md5 extension as suggested above..
I am new to mac book, I am using mac 10.10, when I download these zip its automatically shows as extracted folder and when drag and drop the folder on virtual device home screen, it starts a file transfer and shows alert as file saved under download. I restarted multiple times. I have downloaded correct files even though its not working. Please help me.

There's already a method to unlock the BL (by having the md5 hash of your serial code), so I can't see why this is still relevant
Because i will provide you a signed bin file, which will help you to unlock your device withing a minute, and it will be too easy
