Just bought this off Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DRODFNK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and I'm pretty sure it's used. For those of you who have replaced your battery, is there any chance this is new and I'm crazy before I return?

Thanks.
*Note*
I bought from the US supplier, Everyday Source.
I need some help finding a legitimate battery also
That scrape down the middle combined with wrinkles definitely looks like it was originally glued in, and someone shoved a spudger or something underneath to pry it out.
A new OEM battery should cost about $20USD. As a general rule, if the price seems too good to be true, then it usually is. The description in the link says nothing about the battery being new either.
That's what I thought. The battery is going back. BTW, it's listed in the inventory field as new from the place I ordered.

Battery case could be the most practical gadgets for Galaxy S5,before the mophie juice pack come out or don't think it's a good solution on cost, then we may get to find some replacement, however, we may also get some fake capacity battery case which doesn't last a long time... get to know the 4800mah case and if someone tried yet ?

Thats cool and all, but IMO those are for Gphones.
Or other phones with silly non removable batteries. I think a huge benefit to the galaxy line is the fact we can swap a battery within seconds. it would take less room in your pocket than having that case and give you DOUBLE the life rather than 60% more or whatever that case gives you.
Hey, everyone!
We've recently got a review tablet through a third party PR firm, and I'm thinking that I might like to reproduce the setup, but with a better tablet of my own, and one that I can work with. This thing is a pretty cheap Chinese knockoff tablet. The one thing that I like about it, ist hat it's got a gigantic docking base, and a charger that requires no effort or care on the customer's part when slotting it in. It seems like a much more durable option than asking them to line up a little tiny microusb.
As far as I can tell, the chunky charger bit on the back is just plugged into the charging port of the tab itself, then glued on. Then it just slots nicely into the big old dock. I'd like to do that with quite a few of these scattered around the place to encourage reviews.
Does anyone know what that type of charging port embigg-ifyer is called so that I can shop for them?
Thank you so much!!

after reading the several battery related threads, it seems that someone wanting to buy another one must order the original one... isn't it?

Wow... It seems this forum is pretty much dead...
Well, I ordered a PolarCell battery (http://www.ebay.es/itm/390617203083?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649) because it seems it's one of the most trusted of all non original batteries.

I will tell you (if interested) about it on next weeks...
After put in my Chacha, I let the battery empty and started a full charge with the phone on, with no interruptions.
After that, the battery lasted more than 24 hours.
I took the plunge for this battery thanks to an Amazon Warehouse deal.
Result of first day (after charging it fully with the official Samsung cradle charger):

Will keep testing and report again after 2 more full charges.
Wow that's amazing! Does NFC and stuff still work?

Unsure, I don't have any tool to test the NFC with. But the battery has the NFC bulge on it, so it should work.
Regarding the further screenshots, I wasn't able to kill the battery yet, so I have yet to make close-to-death ones.
I did notice that it stays at 1% for like a couple of hours and if I remove and it put it back it jumps back up at 17%, so I guess the usual issue is still present, sadly.
Buy 2 batteries from Witrigs, plus glue isolation.
They say they are exactly as the original, and feedback is ok....

Any one try this batteries? Are they the real stuff?
According app from OP, my original battery is about 89%......
Thank you!
UPDATE:
Already installed and they look original.
After remove black paper, there was the logo of OP.
Some photos for posterity:
Infortunaly, i broke the rear glass, due my inexperience. Already gonna ask a new new. Didnt use glue, but only the original one.
It will be more easy to replace for the new one.
P.S. - VOOC or Dash, works. Gonna let deplete battery, the full charge to optimize battery.:silly:
Amazing.....24H and i still have 69%!
