Bless your heart, I don't think that there's any way to downgrade to 4.1 from 4.3 without royally messing up your phone.
If I am wrong, someone please let me know.

Nope your right there isn't. Once your on 4.3 your on a locked BootLoader if you took the ota
And since they aren't or even can't send it back to the USA the only other option in the jtag service wouldn't be an option at this point
From my Wicked S3 on SOKP
So ur saying there is no going back to 4.3 even
How do i get my phone working i dont want it downgrade

Plz help i tried all the ways showen on the forum
I think that each incremental upgrade does something to the system to keep you from downgrading because everything that I've read on this makes it seem like it's more trouble than it's worth.
Now you can go to sammobile. com and search for the i535 rom and flash it on your phone.

If your on the 4.3 OTA it won't work when you use Odin. Your more than likely going to brick the phone that way. There's no way around it
From my Wicked S3 on SOKP
I think the OP is just trying to get back to 4.3 which is the condition in which he purchased the phone. You should be fine flashing through ODIN either one of the 4.3 full stock files (VRUCML1 or VRUCNC1) listed first in the first post of this thread:

Hi all,
I am new to this forum and i am really expecting some help from you guys.
Samsung recently launched ICS update for galaxy S2 in INDIA and i have been trying to update my phone via Kies but every time when kies is done with all the downloads and this screen called "Downloading...Do not turn off the Target" comes on the phone the phone gets disconnected and Kies gives the message that it cant detect the phone and i should remove battery and restart, whereas phone get stucks at that same Downloading message screen. This problem comes over and over again and everytime i restart my phone it starts normally with my 2.3.6 firmware.
What can be the possible cause and solution for this?

Hey
1 of all....Kies damn sucks
I think you should go to http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/ and search for I9100
scroll down and take the ics 4.0.3 for india
Flash it via odin and it should work
if you dont have any experience with odin search here in teh xda for an tutorial
Tell me if it worked

Jaaap :/
Ok I have the same problem. Only I checked the performance monitor for network activity, and there's a process; kiespdlr.exe that's actually downloading, but it's been like this for a while now, and there's no progress bar or anything so I don't know if the phone's actually frozen or not!! Should I wait or restart the phone?
Pleaaaaase help!! I'm scared stiff that I might brick my phone!! I just bought it!!

That's terrible advice.
He's on stock 4.3. Doing that would hardbrick his phone. I don't know how to flash to straight talk, but don't do that.

That is a heated discussion at work. Straight talk does say that Verizon S3s are compatible, but Verizon has blocked the use of setting a new APN. There are ways if you are rooted but I have never been able to get it to work successfully. If anyone knows a surefire method shoot me a PM.
Hi i bought a verizone sch i535 galaxy s3 with android 4.4.2 i switched over to straight talk and cdma 4g doesnt work from what i could find out online it has to do with frequency someone on another forum said they installed a custom rom and switched the baseband to i535vrbmf1 and has working 4g with straight talk. So can someone help me install the i535vrbmf1 baseband i found a guide to root if i have to. any help is appreciated

Your on a locked bootloader. You can't revert back to another baseband, your on NE1 and stuck on it

Root it, are you planning on installing a custom rom? If so then you won't have to worry about it auto updating but if not remove two files. Fwupgrade.apk and sdm.apk

Yes i will probably do a custom rom i havnt looked into them but im thinking it might help towards getting 4g with straight talk. Do you happen to know if they will need the phone active to do the jtag or if i can transfer my number to have a phone while its out

I doubt the phone will need to be active to perform the jtag service, I don't see why you can't transfer your number to another phone. I've done it in the past and it was quite easy
Ok thanks again im gonna send my phone out fri and found a guide to root it once i get it back. can you or anyone recommend a good custom rom with a guide to install and ive been having trouble with finding a i535vrbmf1 baseband download and how to install that also i wont need for about 2 3 weeks and will continue to look around myself

Hey guys I know that this question has been asked many times and i know that there are many tutorial that show you how to return your verizon galaxy s3 back to stock rom.
My verizon S3 is running 4.3 and it has the locked bootloader but i want to be able to flash the kitkat update using Odin however every tutorial i look at and every link i follow is not working when i try and download the stock firmware.
Can someone here help point me into the right direction and possibly provide me with a link to the official samsung (verizon) firmware for model SCH-i535. If you can provide a good tutorial that would be great as well!
Thank you so much for your assistance and time...

Have you tried just taking the OTA update? As long as your not rooted and didn't make any changes internally you should be able to take the OTA

Alright. Here's the thread, be advised the bootloader will be even more locked down. With TW 4.3 there is more options for roms. With the 4.4 update your stuck with 3 options

My rooted phone will not let me into my playstore, i think this could be do to rooting and then doing the android update, or maybe the freedom app i downloaded at one time. It also says I lost root. Anyways I was stupid and thought I new what I was doing and think I may have really screwed up my phone. Will flashing stock firmware fix this? think i have looked through the threads already and I think I have a good handle on this whole flashing stock firmware. My question is if I give you guys my build number/ phone info can you tell me what exact firmware I need to revert to stock? Build# VRUFNK4 for a SCHi545 samsung galaxy S4 G. Let me know please. Thanks!

The best way to flash back to stock is using Heimdall one-click. Complete instructions are available at: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1470716
