Hey guys, I'm new to M8 forum so I had a question: Bought a Verizon M8 and wanted to know if I can install on it the international M8 ROM for quick updates also because I live in Europe.
My M8 already has S-OFF and Unlocked. At the moment it has CleanRom 1.4. So if I change the CID to SuperCID would I be able to just flash the international ROM to my Verizon variant?
Anyone?
Yes you can. I using revolution 11.1 and its good just flash this kernel because wifi will be broken...sorry clouldnt paste the kernel. Its a 4.4.3 stock kernel w/ modules

Hello
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
The tablet has CSC: PHE
I put the new ROM by ODIN: N8000XXUDNE4 [DBT] [4.4.2]
If the tablet has CSC (PHE) but the ROM is German (DBT), I will have updates OTA? Or the CSC must be the same as the source of the ROM?
Updates are listed by the CSC or the ROM?
Thanks.
Greetings.
Hi,
My experience has been that if you install a custom recovery/custom rom- you lose the ability to receive OTA from the device maker and/or carrier.
Some custom rom developers include the ability to do an OTA in their rom, but it is an OTA specific to their own rom.
Thanks
the ROM that I put is official.
the stone is not root

With (official) Samsung ROM and no custom recovery and not rooted, you should be able to receive OTA if they are available.
I just turned on my phone and it says a new version is ready for download. Could this be a US or global version? I'm currently on 4.4 (fw 77) rooted with recovery, and on at&t.

It is, yes but OTA recovery will fail because of recovery.
Download prerooted version and flash if you want to use 5.0.2.

Is there a global version available yet? I've only found Nordic and Baltic, which I don't want. Ty
If I was you, I would roll back to stock and sacrifice root then update to lollipop

Hello, I have a Huawei Mate 9 Lite BLL-L23C730, is it possible to update it with the firmware of the BLL-L23C605 model using firmware finder? I would like to have Android Nougat and EMUI 5.
Thanks and regards
Yay, you can. I'm actually using B374 version (EMUI 5). But try to flash full firmware instead of the small OTAs.
OKAY!! Did you upgrade the BLL-L23C730 using firmware version BLL-L23C605?
How does it work? You lost any 4G band?
I'm from Argentina and I need the B4 LTE.

You can not directly.
you need the oeminfo file atleast for flashing the firmware from other regions. in this case you need someone who can share the OEMINFO file from C605 model. Without that, it wont accept the other firmware.
Check a guide for debranding in my signature and you will come to know about the process.
