Ok here's the thing. .
I have Sony Xperia C and I decided to Deodex'ed it by following this guide from Somesh Chaudhary at informationlord
It went fine and after not satisfying by its default systemui, I have also installed another tweak by following his another guide.
I followed all the NON CWM instructions. And it went fine also. But after I installed iFont from Playstore and rebooted my phone, It's always stuck on boot loop. I already did the hard reset at the back of my phone.
My Sony Xperia C is Build 16.0.B.2.16 and Rooted using Frameroot.
Please I really need your help guys.

I have a SK17i, Xperia Mini Pro. The device has been rooted and recoverymod installed manualy (not installed by clockwork mod as it wasnt possible :s) I flashed a new ROM and now its stuck on Sony Ericsson white logo. Cant even get into recovery menu :s. I know the recovery mod is deffintely installed as I used it to install the new ROM. Please help as this isnt my phone but my mums.

I don't have the backup&restore app that is needed to root my sony xperia miro.. I've found a couple apk's online, but when I try to open them they just force close... is there any other method to root the sony miro?? or any links to download the backup&restore app? any help is much appreciated... thanks...

Just use UnlockRoot app in Windows... it's free (although with some terms that you must install a babylon IE bar), and just one click and the process is pretty straight forward and doesn't take too much time...

hi frnds here i am with new problem can anyone helpme pls i rooted my xperia tipo successfully but i big mistake is done by me at installation that is i execute the instruction fastboot flasboot boot.img successfully but unfortunately i forgot about fastboot reboot . i disconnect my mobile and restart it from that moment it is in off state a red led is blinking on while i want to bring it in recoverymode (by holdingvolume+ and connecting usb) so pls help me can i correct my mistake or i have to visit sony service pls help me by your suggestion as soon as possible

IF the flashing process was completed successfully (no errors) then it shoudnt be a problem.
For further assistance i will need to know if you can or cannot get into fastboot mode (blue LED) or flash mode (green LED).If you can then to recover you can use the flashtool (here).Just download the stock .ftf file and flash to stock ROM.

My Xperia can boot into recovery all right but it doesnt turn on in NORMAL mode . When I press the power button the SONLY LOGO comes up and then the phone turns off.
I had to repair it using PC Companion. Can you tell what the problem is . I changed the model number in build.prop too but it didnt help.
Can you please provide a working CWM for Xperia J ?
Need it urgently for installing CM10.

same problem, but i try to use Sony update service and restore my phone to normal, it's easy to use is working only your phone is off, sry for my bad english

that cwm only works on .18 & .28 fw. thats why most people like me with unlockable bootloaders are stuck on primitive stock fw no one has developed a proper cwm for locked bootloaders yet
my device now bootloop becoz i didnt do a backup before i flash new kernel and rom.
i dont know why my flash tool cant detect my device, last time i use it to update firmware its work well.
my device now still can boot into cwm, is tat backup file from other can help this?

thx alot i try to borrow from my friend.
btw, jus now i try to wipe system and data once more, and let it boot a long time, miracle came out. it boot into stock rom, and the custom rom i flashed before disappear. flashtool still cant detect the device.

wheni i flashed a custom kernel on my unlocked xperia L which is already running on Custom rom 4.4.4....then my cell get dead means unreasponsive...neither on nor boot up....screen doesnt start....when i remove the battery and again insterted...then it gives me ! vibration....
after hrs of charging Continuously RED led glowining....without flashing....
my phone neither shows Custom rom Logo nor boot up...
Nw what can i do...?

Flash original ftf. Wipe everything. Happened to me once and I did the same thing. Looks like there's some problem with the kernel

If your sony phone:
1. Get blank screen after install recovery.img from stupid thread?
2. Just show RED blink (if charged) or sometimes GREEN blink?
3. Can't reflash your phone because not detected by PC? and sometimes detected and not detected until you tired?
4. You can't reflash with Sony Companion or other software like wmshua?
