I have a car mount for my phone, if I were to use the SCR24 Style-Up Cover, would I be able to fold the flap flat back against the phone so the whole display is visible without breaking the cover, anyone know?

The magnets in my case cause the screen to go off when I flip the flap to the back.
Is there any way to turn off that feature?

This will be my first phone without a "removable" back panel. I am not sure what to do since I have using the Scosche Magic Mounts with the metal plate you install. I dont think that I will be able to install it under the panel if I could remove it because it probably does not have an extra panel to keep the metal from touching the electronics. Like most phones have when they have a removable back panel and battery. Right now my only option is to use the small one directly on the back of the phone and use something like the clear full case to keep it from catching and still being able to keep the back panel visible.
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Frank

Magnetic Mount Project
Could diy a case like this guy did.
I think I will just use the plate attached to the back and under the clear rubber case.
Oh. I'm the guy who made that thread didn't even think anyone would ever look at that again. For this year's new Moto X, I actually cut and fitted a whole back plate to cover up the custom back colors the moto can have. I cut out 3M foam tape that would be placed on the metal plate and contacted with the phone. Basically a metal skin protector back cover. I made the metal match the new sides in dark gray.

photos or you didn't make it (grin).
Mine sticks to a magnetic mount without a steel plate in a case or in the device itself. Magnet sticks to the metal in the phones internals. Doesn't affect using the phone for gps or anything.
Hi,
I have warranty for the phone but i have to pay £20.54 if they find that it is normal wear and tear.
The flap is disintegrating the gasket/washer that keeps the phone waterproof and its disintegrating towards the wireless charging port so on the corner.
Do you think it is worth it sending it in for a look?
Thanks.
These flaps shouldnt be so hard to change yourself.
My phone came with an extra flap for the micro USB port in case it broke. My recommendation is to buy it yourself to replace (It shouldn't be too expensive) and buy a magnetic charger to prevent it from breaking again.
Hello guys,
as the title says the front cover sticker starts to fall off and my display starts to follow it. So what except front cover sticker do I need? Can I just melt the front cover sticker and reapply new sticker or I have to start with the back cover(I will also have to get new back cover sticker)? Also do I need any other stickers like earpiece/headphone jack? I have confirmed that only the front sticker is bad with a piece of scotch - when applied the pressure sensor showed waterproofing is fine.
P.S. I have already changed my back cover sticker with parts from witrigs and the phone was waterproof after that so I have the suction cup & guitar strings and I'm kinda familiar with the Z3 design.
I bought a cheap hardcase cover with a leather like cover. So when I turn the cover all the way to the back the tablet turn off. Which I wouldn't mind. Excepet when I push the power button I can't turn it back on!!!
I need to unfold the cover in order to turn it on again. I did the following. I removed the case from the tablet and I place the tablet on top of the "top side of the cover" (it's black). This is the part that would "cover" or touch the back when I flip the cover around. And if I do this, again the tablet turns off and will not turn on again untill I lift it up. But I open up the case and place the tablet on the inside of the flip cover (it's gray part) then the tablet does not turn off. I can't find anything that is magenetized on the cover itself, so I don't know what gives.
The tablet works fine in all other circumstances and I'm afraid of just buying another cover because how do I know it won't happen again....
Any Ideas?
I would really appreciate any thoughts.
You could just disable auto on off in the Accessories settings. I doubt your case is actually non magnetic if it works like that.
Reply I solved the issue buy making to black bars (made out of carboard and the painted black) of 1 CM height and gluing them to the back of the case. The case if effectively magnetized (but I only figured it out because It say so in the description of the item that I bought) this prevented the top of the cover from touching the back of it, when flipping it and had the added bonus that I can safely store the pen and lay the tablet on the table with zero issue.
