if you don't have much knowlage about partitions.. i would suggest you to flash a stock rom and then again flash your desired custom rom

Hi ,
I bought new htc explorer and successfully rooted it.
I am tring to increase my internal memory by this script : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1932874
i just partitioned my 8gb card to 4,4 both primary , 1 fat32 and 1 is ex2.
I implememted all ways, installed and all terminal steps worked fine.
But my internal storage didnt increase sill 9mb remaining , but yes SD card is showing the 4 gb storage but how i can attach the other 4gb storage to internal memory
i also tried 2nd options also ,flash that recovery file after 1st options but both are not working although my explorer is rooted. In boot mode it says installed successfuly but internal memory donot increase.
Then i came to know that i hadnot enable init.support in the stock rom as above process requires this , so i tried this step
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1422061
and getting error :
exit value : 0
stdout : M2SD has already been loaded. Canceling Second Run.
so how i can enable init support in my pico to execute the script to increase memory
Thanks
Dude the best advice i can give you is to try a custom stock based rom like Nextgen 1.5. It has m2sd preconfigered so you wont have any probs.

1. Go to recovery then backup & restore then select backup
It will create clockworkmod folder on your sdcard and you can restore it by using the restore option.
Make sure u hav suff. space on sd card. I make with > 1gb free
2. Its your choice. If you want the stock exp.then go with the rom i told. For me HTC Sense is very imp. so m sticking wid nextgen. If you want something new then go wid CM9 or 10 or whatever rom.
Personal exp.- I just missed sense after switching to a non-sense rom
Hope it helps

Hi i am a newbiee..I am using a already Rooted HTC Pico Secondary partition=2gb (done while rooting),32gb card class 10 card running on stock ROM. But wanted to install a custom CM10 rom.. I have download both the Rom and Gapps from the forum links.. But unable to complete the Installation process on my own.. Please help...
I used the free ROM manager from play store. I completed the first step of making the recovery using the Rom manager but will installing the rom something went wrong and phone was stuck in the boot logo so i rebooted the phone and restored it... after restoration my entire Secondary partition was left blank. I opened Link2Sd to view the partition its shows 2nd part not mounted... when i click on recreate mount scripts and select the fat format that i used for it it shows a error msg as "Mount scripts can't be created Mount:Invalid argument". Please help me installing the ROM and make Link2 SD work. Also i want a secondary partition to stay at 2 gb. what should i do to complete the process safely using the ROM manager?
Create ext partition of card. Not fat32.
Put ROM and gapps in card. Wipe everything everything except SD card. Flash ROM. Flash Gapps if needed(cyanogen).
Wait on first boot.

Your recovery(the official recovery by Rom manager) doesn't support ext partitions.
Change recovery.
Everything should work.

i created sdext for old custom rom.....but i didn't for new sense 5 rom....
now how to use that sdext ?..as my internal memory is getting low.
see all rom had same SDEXT partition, required minim 1gb EXT3.
so just reinstall the Rom, before u create SDext using recovery as ext3 ...

maybe the rom has /data folder enabled and installs some apps directly. If you have root access, which you should have on a custom rom, install root explorer and check the /data dir and see what you'll find there. have you wiped /data and /cache before installing the custom rom ?
I have rooted my htc explorer and installed CWM successfully and moved my apps to SD card second partition. later my SD got corrupted and lost all my apps including playstore! as i am not even able to boot into CWM recovery i have installed TWRP and added new SD card successfully! but strangely even after having no apps at all in my phone i am only left with some 30 mb of internal storage! i am not sure whats occupying the internal storage! can some one suggest how to check whats eating my internal storage? thanks.

@eeswar which ROM you are using??? If it is RC4 then it is normal because RC4 will have only 30mb internal storage free
If you want to increase the internal storage then partition your SD card to (ext4)
and follow these steps LINK

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I am using stock rom only! I previously installed CWM recovery but its got vanished after SD corrupt. so now i have installed TWRP recovery and added a new SD. i didn't install any apps but available space is only 36mb which is suppose to be some 90mb! do you think this space occupied by previous and current recovery files?? if yes can you guide me how to remove old CWM recovery?

Your internel memory is filled from bad blocks. U need to flash superwipe. Before flashing a rom if you want memory to be regained..
Use this zip file : Superwipe. Place it your sd card.. Then flash it.. Original creator is thewisenerd for this script..
First take a backup of your current rom using twrp.. Then flash superwipe.. Then again reboot to recovery.. Then restore your backup..
