[Completed] Modification of Original Rom - XDA Assist

Hi,
I buy an cheap Android phone recently and found the touch screen is too sensitive for me. I am wondering is there any possibility I can modify the original rom by myself and make the sensitivity of the screen lower? I had rooted the phone and also downloaded the original rom for the phone.
Thanks.

Hi,
Possibly, but we need to know your device make and model to point you in the right direction for help. Though based on your post, I'm guessing there would be no section for your device, so here would be the best place to ask for help...
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck!

[Completed] [Q] Bootloop FA9191- ROM unavailable on the net.

Hi!
I have a big problem because my phone don't boot normaly. Compatible's ROM unavailable on the net because it's a noname phone.
I have some files : ebi.bin and load.cmm by using QPST. I see that when i open load.cmm: "Build ID: 76XXT-6030-TSNCJOLYM".
So is it possible to do a ROM with this file "ebi.bin" or to repair this phone?
Hi,
Since there isn't any forum for your device, you need to ask this in the Android Q and A section over here:
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
However, since your device is a recognized one here at XDA, finding a custom rom for it will be next to impossible.
Good Luck!

Hi,
I'm afraid I can find nothing helpful about your device on XDA, so asking here would be best...
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
I can say that finding and flashing you factory stick firmware might be best. You could try contacting the manufacturer about that.
Good luck!

[Completed] [Q] Help with KIngelon MKT5492 - cleaning out malware

Its been a while since I posted here Last device was a Samsung Note 10.1
I have just ordered a phone for my wife - KINGELON N9800 5.7" IPS MTK6592 8-Core Android 4.2.2 Phone 13MP CAM 2GB RAM 16GB ROM
Afterwards I read about the spyware/malware which has sometimes been found on these phones.
As I am totally out of touch with rom etc now and will take a long time to read through all the forums I'd like to ask how best to ensure that there is no dodgy installed software or backdoors in the OS?
Is it possible to root the phone and add a new ROM, and if so would that guarantee there is nothing nasty left lurking in the device?
TIA
