[TOOL/REDIRECT] LGExtract

Hello LGP920 users, I don't have this phone (I own a 970), but, I'm working in a tool that can help you guys too.
The purpose of the tool is to extract the files .bin / .fls from the .kdz files, to use the tool SmartFlash.
I don't know if this kind of topic (duplicated) is allowed, but, is a tool for "all" lg phones.
For now its really useful for P920 and P970, because we can flash files bin / fls with SmartFlash tool.
Other phones has different file structures...

Did you tried extract another file? or a kdz?
Your problem seems to be with Microsoft Enhanced Cryptographic Provider.
I will made some changes at the code to handle errors better and provide more details.
You should wait for the next update.

Hi guys, going off another thread I didn't find this thread using search so just popping in the search word extractor so the next poor bugger doesn't get flamed for not using search
Tool is great and will help a lot when we get the next rom we can root but has a better baseband

Nice, good to know.
Please check the output files in a hex editor to see if it make sense.
If the file has some headers (boot, recovery, lgdrm, divxkey, fota, system, etc...)

I used a hex editor check the output file(LGP920_AP[0].bin) has the above headers.

If you can find out, could you post what modem/baseband processor is used in these devices: P920, P925G, P970 ?
This info should be available in the Service/Hidden Menu and in the modem firmware file. Look for "Qualcomm", "Infineon", "x-gold"...

1). Download all The Files Below!
1.2). Get Your Firmware Files are HERE!
1.3). Download R&D FlashTool & Other Files :Here
1.4).Download Drivers HERE!
2. unzip
- LGMOBILEAX
- LG_KDZ_FW-Update_OfflineFix
3. install B2CAppSetup.exe in
LG_KDZ_FW-Update_OfflineFix\KDZ_FW_UPD_EN
4. go to C:\ProgramData\LGMOBILEAX
remove all files and folder
5. copy all files and folders from LGMOBILEAX that you unzip from step2 to C:\ProgramData\LGMOBILEAX
Method 1. work with vbs script
1. run Automatic Offline Procedure.vbs in \LG_KDZ_FW-Update_OfflineFix folder
2. now R&D test tools appear please select KDZ File
3. select Normal web upgrade test
4. Select Upgrade start
5. In Select Country & Langauage Please Select Country to Different Country (do not worry if does not has Langauage to select )
6. Process Flashing firmware start...Please waiting just moment.
7. for process 100% you is finishing flash return to stock firmware
Method 2. edit host file

1. Go to windows/system32/drivers/etc/ and open your hosts file! (open it with wordpad)
2 . Add this line at the end of the document:
127.0.0.1 csmg.lgmobile.com
3. Save hosts file
4. Install msxml (you can find it in the downloaded KDZ_FW_UPD_EN folder)
5. Start http in the shttps folder
6. Start Windows Enabler and turn it on (system tray!)
7. Start UpTestEX_mod2_marwin
8. Flash your .kdz as you normally would

Just for clarification, I now have this device after previously having a G2 and have this set up for the G2 on an old windows 7 laptop. Will my set-up now work for this device or is it different in any way?

It has been working on my G Pro and now on my G2. So I guess it will work on the G Pro 2 as well.

There are all languages but as far as I know there is no Global Rom at the moment.

Eh, I've downloaded it but found this file was corrupt

You can't unzip it, you have to flash it by copying it on the device

The file is corrupt. You should be able to open it (archive viewer) and see the files. I even attempted to repair the file using terminal commands, it seems that half the files are missing/damaged.

Unfortunately the only model that can be unlocked right now is the European one and version 10z still doesn't exist (maybe a typo?)

Any chans u have the 10k unmodified boot?

Could you do a system dump of the V40? I see you did the vendor for the V40.

First of all, thank you heaps LameMonster82, you are an absolute champion!!. I was searching for hours to find a kdz file for G710EM10p and your posting was the only one I found. For some reason the "thaks" buttob isn't visible to me.. maybe because I'm a new member.
I thought I could be helpful by listing the different KDZ files which are in your google drive folder so other people can find them while searching through google like I was.
In the above link from LameMonster82 there are following KDZ files for the LM-G710EM (European) variant of the LG G7 :

Download manages to get to 1 GB and then it drastically slows down and eventually fails. Via a download manager the farthest I got was 1,5 GB: although the download manager continued to download (it downloaded ~5 GB of data), the file was only 1,5 GB.

Doesn't seem to be something from me. Maybe Google's server are acting up or youre using your phone to download it. If you're using a phone it will sometimes do that. Try downloading another file and if not find a 10p version here: https://lg-firmwares.com/lg-lmg710em-firmwares/#tab=firmwares

It's the system partition but it's empty because when you install an update the system copies there. A/B support

Is it possible to extract any of the system apk files from the image without it being flashed?

Of course. You just need a 7Zip or WinRAR to open the image and fish it out

Actually, I have unpacked G7's kdz and there's 4.4 GB system_b image. When I mount it, I see bunch of odex and vdex files. I can't see where are those in my phone.

Odex and vdex files? Never heard of them. The image should still have a size but filled with 0.

[SOLVED] Looking for a V500N LGU Korean variant QFIL dump and rawprogram files

EDIT: I don't need this anymore since I've fixed the problem
Could anyone please help me to upload the QFIL partition dump and the rawprogram files of a V500N LGU variant V50? I tried the dump files for the Sprint variant, and it enabled me to go into the download mode. However, I can't flash any stock ROM, neither the Korean ones nor the American ones. LG Bridge can't detect anything as well.

I think there is a patched LGUP here in this LG G8 thread but I'm not sure if it works on V50, you can use it to flash KDZ which you can download from LG website according to your variant

I think I have already been using that version of LGUP. I didn't have any problem with flashing the stock ROM before. Now I am facing this problem where I can't flash any stock ROM because LGUP always encounters a cross-flashing problem. Most likely, this is because of the incompatible partition dump files I've used.

1. download the Korean KDZ

3. Download the v50unbrickbackup https://drive.google.com/file/d/13AJ8SnKmpOrTQF2EQ1odJK7-4qfUTIdF/view
4. join the folders with the images and the .bin
