This is the Easiest way to root Samsung Galaxy Note 3 LTE (SM-N9005) KNOX 0x1!
ATTENTION PLEASE:
- All ROMs from post #1 & #2 WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY!!! KNOX 0x1!!!
Think twice before flashing.
- You MUST keep your Region Code (XXU... or ZHU...), check your FW before flashing!!
- If your KNOX is 0x1 you can use any Stock/Custom ROM/Recovery
- Use Chainfire's CF-AutoRoot if you want to root your existing Stock ROM. (KNOX 0x1)
- Custom Recovery is NOT included. If you need one, you will need to install it separately. (KNOX 0x1)
- DO NOT use CF-AutoRoot for Pre-Rooted ROM's as it can mess things up!!
Use it ONLY for OFFICIAL STOCK ROMs
Main benefits of using this method are:
- FULLY ROOTED
- No need for Insecure Kernels.
- Complete, Odin flashable Packages.
- Can be used on Non-Rooted devices.
- Binary Flash Counter will NOT increase
- Use Wanam Xposed to keep SYSTEM/DEVICE as OFFICIAL
- Only 1 file and you have a complete firmware including Root permission.
- Fully working KIES & OTA updates (FYI: root will be lost after software update)
Flashing instructions:
1. Install KIES or USB drivers from here
2. Download and run Odin from here (v.3.04 is recomended)
3. Make sure that ONLY AutoReboot & F.Reset Time is ticked in Odin options
4. Download and extract one of Pre-Rooted ROM's
5. Load extracted file (.tar.MD5) as PDA in Odin.
6. Turn OFF your phone, Press&Hold POWER+VOLUME_DOWN buttons until phone boot into Download/Odin Mode
7. Connect phone to the computer and WAIT for the drivers to be installed. You will see blue or yellow indicator in left top corner of Odin, with phone connected to port: COM:x
8. Click START and wait until you see GREEN indicator [PASS], flashing is finished
9. Unplug USB cable and enjoy.
10. If your Device/System Status shows CUSTOM, use Wanam Xposed and tick "Fake System Status"
TESTED!! Works like charm...

It's all about bootloader and NOTHING can be done (atm) You can use CWM flashable ROM's instead..
Maybe in future I'll start making ZHU and VJU FW's as well but it's taking ages...

Latest tests shows that it is possible to go from XXU to VJU but NOT to ZHU and vice-verse..

The phone came with the same rom you posted (baseband version, kernel version & build number), should i be worried about the CSC or anything else because my phone is true unlocked free unlike sim-uk problem.

You will be fine, just go for it mate!
Soon I'll upload more individual CSC packages for Odin.
Not really working
so, i got yesterday the Note 3. all apps running fine etc. but i needed to root it to restore work from my old note 1. followed all the steps in flashing the rom, some apps that need root access work... BUT, 90% of the apps now fail to open, they just close on launch. the ones that manage to open, don't save data. so, i entered in /data/data/com.some.app and set full permissions to everything i found. nothing. it just fails to save data (but i don't get any errors). The ones that close on launch give me a notification saying "an application has been forced to stop for an unauthorized attempt to access system in your device. it may be safe to delete an application obtained from an unauthorized route. check now? (cancel/ok)" and if i select ok it opens the app manager. went to security settings and disabled everything i could that might do this and still no success.
so what do i do to make all apps work?

Update SuperSU from PlayStore as I've attached previous one. Worst case scenario, factory data reset should help.
BTW, this was your first Custom ROM on N3?? No custom recovery in between? If so, how is your KNOX WARRANTY VOID 0x0 or 0x1??
I just got report from one of my testers that NON-ROOTED ROM with modified CSC hasn't risen the flag... happy days!

hello there,
first, earlier today i did
"Note 3 successfully rooted (unlocked bootloaders only)" did http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2460720
theoretically it worked, but like just now, apps don't work. SU is up to date. KNOX flag was 1 after the bootloader thinghie. and yes, the first rom to the n3.
so factory reseting should do the trick?

Bootloader :
The bootloader is a code that is executed before any Operating System starts to run. Bootloaders basically package the instructions to boot operating system kernel and most of them also have their own debugging or modification environment. Think of the bootloader as a security checkpoint for all those partitions. Because if you are able to swap out what’s on those partitions, you’re able to break things if you don’t know what you’re doing. So basically it commands the kernel of your device to boot the device properly without any issues. So careful with bootloader since it can mess things very badly.
First of all:
I hope you know what you are going to do by flashing the bootloader! HERE find a short description how.

im not able to flash the bootloader ne2 (newer one) through ODIN 3.07. my phone stuck on sboot.bin. up is showing me bootloader with white background and id com9 blue. what im wrong here?

Restart it and if it fails another time, take Odin 3.09
EDIT: Flashing BL should last only seconds, so normally not enough time to take a foto.

i had time even to use snipping this is why im writing i tried even with 3.09 same issue. my current bootloader is fnd3. anyone else with this problem?

Maybe Kies is running in the background, then disable it in task manager. If not, sometimes changing com port does the trick.

The stock browser has a little t-mobile sign in icon, changed the browser several times but no alteration.

You checked CSC and country restrictions?
The T-Mobile sign could be due to some thing making it believe it is from there.

Just a question for you as I seen you have installed Xposed Framework and Wanam Xposed: does the Private Mode works?
Right now I have my G900FD rooted and I have Xposed Framework with XSecureStorage module activated but anyway Private Mode won't work untill I uninstall Xposed Framework... after that I can have back the access to my hiden "personal pics".

Release date does not mean that it's the latest firmware, but only when the firmware has been released in that Country.
Latest firmware is definitely ANJ2: it allows to have access to private mode through fingerprint with non needs to use the finger print also to unlock the phone. ANJ1 does not have this implementation! ; )

Knox counter is allready tigger when you flashed a custom recovery such as CWM/TWRP ...
sow to flash this rom you allready have knox 0x1 ...

...I do not know how to decompile an app... thus flashing both zip files doesn't worked for me...
