Hey guys, I have a red nexus 5.
When the notification led blinks, it shines through a portion of the red plastic near the led.
Does this happen to anyone else or just the red n5s?
edit: Forgot to mention it's most noticeable when the room is dim/dark.
I have a black one and there is no light leakage anywhere.

I don't have an easy way to take a picture atm. Think of it like this, when the led blinks, it shines through a portion of the plastic band around the notification led area.
So, a part of the plastic band right above the mini usb connector lights up.
Oh okay my nexus 5 does that as well

case, cover, any lens protector can cause this issue
if thr s no physical condition just test camera with another Camera app and send result
:good:
i did a test recently with really low light shots, without flash and i got the blue haze as well. if i remember correctly, only on the 8 mp shots (other shots were 20 mp)...
i think the whole scene was just to dark for the camera and you had no flash on (?)
no case or cover here!
Same here, I get this blue haze in the corners, usually low light or indoors
I get it randomly in low Light shots. Not sure if i should just return this one and switch into premium or another z5...

Anyone know why the camera does this yet? Low light shots, some come out absolutely great, almost good enough for me to consider keeping the phone, but most have blue dots or blue light in the areas of black which should stay black.
Flash off, black areas have blue cast and blue dots, flash on, blue haze.
Android 6 and manual controls should improve this camera ten fold.
I don't have this phone yet but will get one tomorrow.
Make sure the camera is clean from fingerprint.

Just to confirm, Sony Z5C here and random bluish hue at edges or other parts that should have been black or dark by default. No cases nor covers, SA and Manual, little less when capturing with Night mode, but sometimes it also processes that blue noise. It irritates me...
You can remove this hue by using iso 400 or less in manual mode.
Try displaying white notification LED. Mine have purple tint on the right side. Does yours able to display real white?
Thanks

Mine looks like that as well, always has. I think the problem occurs because it tries to create a white light using the RGB Leds present within it and the balance between the colours isn't quite right.

Yes it is like this, nothing wrong with your led.
Hi,
Was clicking pics last night with my device when I noticed a purple tint. This tint can only be seen on dark surface while using the ultrawide camera. This tint is seen only on the edges. Is this tint normal? Or should I get the phone checked?
Can someone try this? Just place a dark object on one side and click with Ultrawide.

yes i got my phone today and i notice this too . but i think it is software bug
Thanks for confirming bro. Was worried.
Anyone else got green tint on their display? Doesn't bother me when not using dark mode but it's annoying. Is it hardware problem or can it be fixed with a future update?

are you sure it isnt some sort of reflection from the pre-applied glass protector the phone comes with?

Could well be. I'll order some different screen protector and check it out after I've removed this one

Mine got the gradually increasing green-tint from top to bottom on some dark grey background, but it turns out that the tint is miui 12 dark-mode itself. Its the default color-gradient i think. On image or games it did not happen, and im sure it is intended to be that way.
Are yours had green-tint all over the display? If so, you can always try to reduce the green color in advanced color settings. Or else just claim replacement on warranty i guess.

I did wonder if it were the default colour gradient. I can only see it on dark grey backgrounds, for example XDA labs shows it. I have it horizontally across the top (1cm below status bar?)
One plus more has same problem I guess.
I don't know exactly but last day I faced 3 problem but tinting..might be my mistake by I saw a greenish tint slightly..
I've still got the screen protector which is came from factory... guess I'll have to change it too..
No green tint here. It was the first thing I check when I get the phone.
Same here. green tint on low brightness and dark colors. It's annoying AF

I dont see it on XDA Labs, but I do encounter it randomly, especially when brightness gets lower. Weird, but doesnt really bother me since I've ran lot of display tester app from play store and I cant spot any fault on mine. Thats how i draw my conclusion that it could be just the UI feature/bug.
