I created a simple clock live wallpaper application to demonstrate how to create live wallpaper on Android. Application is freely available here on Google Play Store : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ssaurel.clocklw
The tutorial is a video available on Youtube :
Tutorial starts from project creation and goes to test the result application. During creation, I left some bugs to show after first launch on emulator how to fix them .

Don't hesitate to give me your feedbacks. I plan to make other video tutorials. So, if you have ideas, you can tell me .

As a total noob I have a question,
This is my very first Android app and everything was smooth sailing up until about 1:20 when you copy pasted a few assets into your project. I don't have any idea where I can get these files or how to create my own if I need to. Do you (or anyone) have any advice on where to get the image .png file, the strings.xml and other stuff you copy pasted in? Otherwise great video keep up the good work!

you can get these things by going to the source code page on github and then click on download zip :laugh:

Thanks for listening, and dont beat yourself up about it. you get software developers looking at this site. Having said all that your wallpaper/theme idea is a good one and one I am trying out myself at the moment. I bought wisebar 3 the other day in an effort to have a go but wisebar instructions I find a little confusing so i took it off again for now. It a nice idea to see other themes people have made, MS themes can get a little boring after a while. will try your insrutions later.

Just Instal cabs in random order , they are auto , restart and here you go , To instal First Boot Enter Bootloader and act just like installing rom . Don't worry it won't delete any of your data .

2)write the code and create it manually

I tried the Live Wallpaper Creator trial, but I can't make it work...when I try to test the wallpaper, I get an error message that it can't start the AVD, although I installed the Android SDK and set the folder in the creator.
Have you worked with this program before?
I wanted to know, if it's possible to use sprites to create animated objects, like creatures running along the screen...
Or do you know another program that supports such animations?

just try to set the comment background to an image of the screen shot i think it will give the wanted effect

What future? I don't see much future since the hardware industry got clearly faster than the 3rd party firmware development.
When even the very popular S5 is loosing activity, what can i do to keep my device SAFE and CLEAN? Nothing! (But start to code on my own...)
